I have worked-out for years and felt very knowledgeable about exercise and nutrition, but after a long hiatus, I felt I just needed someone to be push me and provide motivation. But, what I received from David Van Hoorik far exceeded my expectations. David not only motivates you, but because of his expertise in exercise physiology and nutritional knowledge, he is able to spot deficiencies and quickly correct them. I am amazed at my progress under David's guidance.
Went to personal training session. We did a total body fitness workout. I very much enjoyed it. Was tailored to my current fitness level and was challenging but not to the point where I was struggling to keep up with the pace. Very professional and very courteous.

As a former collegiate athlete, I've had many trainers over the years and Mark is the best, hands down. He's patient, supportive, and accommodating while also making sure you put in the hard work and see the results you want. I've witnessed him train such an incredibly diverse set of clients and he always knows exactly how to get each of them where they want to be. I've seen him help turn a slim guy into a hard core professional body builder who dominates competitions. On the other hand some people, like myself, are returning from serious injury or have been on this fitness/weight loss journey for a while, so it's a more intimidating and emotional experience for us. He's definitely got your back there too, and I think this is where he really shines and sticks out from any other trainer.
Wendi is an amazing trainer. She always pushes you to be the best you can be. She is very positive and motivating before, during, and after the session! I always enjoy working with her.

I sought a short-term personal training arrangement during an extended visit to Tucson. I work out regularly at home, and wanted to stay active with challenging workouts during my time off. It was obvious the trainer paid attention to the specifics of my request, and responded accordingly. I was very impressed. The training studio was clean and very well equipped - there isn't a form of workout that couldn't be accommodated at Better Bodies. I was well matched to the trainers who worked with me - they were true professionals, very skilled and interested in working with me. I will definitely sign up again during future visits. If I lived in the area, I would strongly consider a long term arrangement.
I recently had a 90 minute sports massage with Don before a competitive event. It was one of the best massages I've ever had! Don has impressive knowledge of anatomy and physiology and was able to resolve my issues efficiently and with minimal discomfort. His touch is marvelously relaxing while at the same time, very effective for reducing tension and working out the knots. I highly recommend him!
I had talked to two trainers at my gym and with a couple online before meeting with Sean. I had my first session with Sean and was thoroughly impressed. In just that hour it’s obvious that he cares about his clients and wants them to succeed. He took a personalized approach and encouraged me to push myself while asking questions to get to know me. Looking forward to the future and progress now that I am not alone with my workout goals.
I am chronically ill, overweight, and in my 50s--the last person you'd expect to go to a personal trainer. I found Maggie while looking for a personal trainer who helped people with osteoporosis and other medical problems. Maggie is wonderful. Working with her has made a huge difference in my quality of life. The new studio is pleasant, and it is lovely to be working with a trainer in a small gym setting without the noise and meat market feeling many big gyms have. I'd recommend Maggie to everyone, but I think she makes a special effort with those of us who don't feel comfortable in a traditional gym setting.
Adam Markstrom is an outstanding personal trainer. As a certified strength and conditioning specialist he is extremely knowledgeable and well-versed in all facets of personal training. I have been training with Adam for six years he has help me to achieve a wide variety of fitness goals. I have lost a substantial amount of weight and become much more fit. Our sessions are challenging but fun and safe. You could not find a better personal trainer in Tucson than Adam Markstrom.

I have been involved in many aspects of health and fitness for years. First as a student, then a coach. I would be a great trainer for someone who is new to fitness but is genuinely interested in learning how to lift weights and various types of cardio and how to mix it up. I don't like alot of "jumping" and "bouncing" and "killer workouts." I am good for those want to work out outside (when the heat dies down some) AND for those who are interested in walking and running for their cardio and possibly some running drills...it will be FUN! Bring a friend!!
