Working with Robin was an absolute pleasure. I interviewed multiple stair specialists before choosing him, and it was the best decision I made. We had him rebuild two stories of stairs in a 120 year old house. He was incredibly thoughtful about every aspect, and did not rush the job. He took his time making sure every aspect of the project was done right. His price was a little higher than some others (though not the highest), but it was an absolute bargain given the time and care he put into our house. While others were planning to use shortcuts like brackets on the skirt board, he did it the way an expert finish carpenter would. The end result is a gorgeous set of stairs that stands out as the centerpiece of our house. I would recommend anyone strongly consider Robin. He is a real expert in working with historical projects, and capable of delivering the absolute best results.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is not the reason to come to us. 99% of the market is "get it done fast" meaning throw a lot of people at the job and make a quick profit. I'm less expensive than that, but produce a far better result. It will usually take 3 times longer as well. Don't come to me for a fast result, as much as I'd love to help I'm not the person for you.

Loads of craft and engineering experience across many fields, especially in metal and wood work.
