FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My initial pricing of $65/hr includes 1 hour session, nutrition guidance, access to my online training program to guide your through workouts outside of our sessions, and individual follow-ups outside of sessions. I take pride in staying connected with my clients and making sure they are successful both during sessions and outside of sessions. I also offer discounted packages that reduces the price of an hour. And I also offer payment options to assist with paying for personal training sessions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With a new client, my first step is to complete a free phone consultation. During this meeting, we will also discuss my client's goals in depth. After our initial consult, I will begin developing an individualized fitness and/or nutrition plan based on information my client provides in their initial paperwork. The next step in my process is to meet my client for an initial assessment. During this meeting, I review the fitness and/or nutrition plan I set for my client and ask for their feedback regarding their understanding of their plan. I also take initial measurements so that we can monitor progress and ensure that my client is seeing the results they are expecting with their plan.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My undergraduate degree is in Recreational Therapy. This training has helped me to think out of the box when it comes to personal training...not every body moves the same. Over time, our body begins to develop imbalances, weak links and/or dominant sides that can cause our bodies to wear down faster than what they should. I focus on addressing these imbalances at the beginning of training so that we can build a strong foundation to further develop your bodies functioning, strength, and flexibility. I have been a certified personal trainer for over 7 years. I was initially certified with the American Council of Exercise, and later furthered my certification as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Throughout my training, I have utilized a variety of training methods to help challenge my clients so that they can work towards their goals. There is not one training method that works for everyone...I enjoy the challenge of finding which methods work for each of my clients and building upon their abilities as they work towards their goals. I am also a Level 1 Certified PN [Precision Nutrition] Coach. As a coach, I offer nutrition education, counseling, and planning based upon your nutritional needs. Currently I offer assistance with goals focusing on weight loss and weight maintenance. I am still working to develop my skills in weight gain and bodybuilding. When I am prepared to offer these services, I will update my portfolio accordingly. Please understand that if you have medical condition that requires specific nutrition prescription, then I will connect you with a medical professional as this is beyond my scope of practice.
