FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I would start by saying you can't beat the value of my service for the price. I provide effective and easy to follow instruction during each lesson that ends with a short written summary and Trackman screencast video that gives the student a visual of the concepts we covered in the lesson. Each new student receives a complete and thorough assessment for an initial investment of $65 with no further commitment. This process typically takes 90 minutes. Once the assessment is complete, I offer several coaching plans that range from 3-12 months depending on the student's level of commitment and budget. Each plan is discounted from my regular hourly rate. The coaching plans are structured and designed to effectively and efficiently give my students long-term improvement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The initial assessment identifies areas for improvement that are the basis of each student's coaching plan. I like to work from the ground up; in other words if the student needs help with certain fundamentals such as stance, posture and grip, we correct those issues first. The instruction is a combination of instructor input, K-Vest biofeedback training and interpreting the data and video analysis from Trackman 4. The student and I work together on the new positions and movements during the lesson. Once the lesson is complete, the student leaves with a lesson summary and video that covers the material and drills to reinforce the new positions. The summary also will include a "next steps" section that previews the next area of swing instruction.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was mentored by Coach Mark Polich and we were part of the Golf Channel Academy cadre of instructors. Mark was the lead instructor and I was his staff instructor for a couple of years. I am now the lead instructor and owner of Good 2 Great Golf indoor golf academy.
