Lastly, I️ travel to Los Angeles and San Francisco once a month to do photography and makeup work there. It’s been a dream of mine to be able to do this. I love creating experiences for my clients. I hired Amber for my wedding. My sister and I both had our makeup done by her. Being that I don't normally wear a lot of makeup I had a lot of anxiety about how I wanted to look for my wedding day. I had my trial done with her and I was completely sold. I have very finicky skin, and I break out easily. Any imperfections I had disappeared on my wedding day; and I didn't notice any ill effects from the make up in the weeks after. It had the right amount of coverage without looking caked on. The makeup she used lasted from noon till midnight. My sister has the opposite complexion of me, very olive and porcelain like skin. Amber did amazing with her as well. Amber was on time, ready to go quickly, and worked in a tight space really well. We probably had up to 20 people in our little suite and she kept cool and on track. Her cost was very affordable. I went and got 3 quotes for makeup, she was in line with the other quotes I received, but I felt the most comfortable with her. She was very responsive, and made plans with me in an appropriate amount of time. I felt like I got exactly what I paid for, and I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Amber was fantastic! I booked a very early morning 8:30 am appointment with her to do my makeup for a wedding I was in. She came to my house, set up, and was done within and hour and half. I had to setup the reception and help the bride get ready. At five when we had our professional photos done, my makeup was flawless. All of the women in the wedding party were stunned. Even the bride commented she wished that she had hired Amber to do her look! I would recommend her to anyone. She has a great personality, fun, professional, and flexible! She totally worked with my schedule and even sent me with samples for touch ups. Thank you again Amber!

The experience I had with Amber was nothing less than amazing. She's very professional and takes her clients opinions into consideration which is great. Her techniques leave your face and foundation looking flawless. She has a wide variety of products she uses, and she also loves to use organic products for the skin. This is an excellent option/alternative for those that might not like putting certain ingredients on their skin. Amber has done my makeup for various occasions such as Valentines day, and I was so happy with my makeup. I got a handful of compliments from family, friends, and even strangers. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly researching new ways to apply makeup as well as continuously keeping up with new products. The best way to stay finely tuned as a makeup artist is to do it everyday!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
l started saving my allowance when l was 13 so l could go to the mall and buy makeup. In high school, all my friends started asking me to do their makeup for special occasions and it took off from there!
