Introduction: I love being self employed, being outside with dogs and playing inside with cats - and I get paid for this...amazing job. I take detailed notes when you show me the scoop on your pets routine, feeding, do's and don'ts; I get the Vet info - info about your house - which lights should go on and off, everything so you feel confident your home and pets are cared for. I am a gardener so I can take of your plants with knowledge. If the tasks take longer than expected or something unexpected happens, I will stay as long as necessary. (I put this last bit in because the last sitter - I - hired when we went away, left before all tasks were done, and would not return my call me because her 30 minutes was up! eek!)
What do I enjoy about the work I do:
I feel good about doing service work for a living, caring for pets and home of folks in my neighborhood and city. Local jobs like mine, circulate money locally contributing to our local economy - that makes me feel good to support Tucson.

Grace took care of our cat, plants, and house while we were away during the hottest part of Tucson's summer (110-116 degrees!). Our usually-curmudgeonly cat loves her, and she did a fantastic job keeping the plants alive -- even making extra trips to water and bringing her own materials to make a shade-cloth cover for the vegetable garden. She is most definitely a five-star resource!

Grace went above and beyond. She texted me everyday, sometimes with a photo, and once with an audio file of my cat purring. She also looked after my outside birds and plants during the heatwave. Would recommend highly.

I have nothing but good things to say about Grace's care for my cats during a recent trip out of town. She made a home visit twice before my trip to take notes and to get acquainted with my kitties. Consequently, the cats were completely acquainted with her beforehand. While I was gone, Grace sent me texts, complete with pictures, after each visit to keep me informed of the cats' behavior and well-being. Besides feeding (one of my cats has a special diet that she had to be vigilant about), she petted and groomed them as well as spent some play time with them. Grace's services also included taking in the mail daily, watering plants, scooping the litter, and vacuuming stray cat litter on the floor. When I returned, everything was in order and I found a "welcome home" letter with details about the time I was away. Grace is very professional and personable and worth her weight in gold! I look forward to asking for her help with the kitties when I need to go on future trips.

We have two cats who needed twice a day care for five days. Grace did everything we asked and more, including sending us text messages with pictures of our cats twice a day. She's extremely professional and reliable, and we're using her again very soon.
