Adie is fantastic to work with. Our daughter is progressing quite nicely in her violin skills where she wasn't progressing much when we were at Allegro. Equally important, our daughter really enjoys interacting with Adie and looks forward to each lesson. I will be highly recommending Adie to others.May 22, 2019
Adie was our daughter's first violin lesson and she proved to be exceptionally patient in this situation. Her style is relaxed, not rigid, and provides for a calm and safe environment for learning while also providing substantial challenges for the student. She was also flexible enough to take on a little Irish folk piece we brought in that we wanted to learn. Adie's a great child instructor!Aug 14, 2018
Adie has by far been the best violin teacher our daughter has had. She not only exemplifies a love for learning, which in and of itself is crucial to any subject, but genuinely cares to bring each student to their next best level in playing. She engages and inspires. If I could place her teaching style in a quote: "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."-- Benjamin FranklinSep 10, 2018
Sadie is a great teacher. She is very encouraging and a lot of fun to work with. My son made much faster progress than I had thought he would.Jul 31, 2018
Adie was wonderful. She was always on time, ready to go with a positive attitude and a smile. She was very accomodating and willing to help Alex when he was unsure of something. The only thing I would have wanted is more time for Alex to learn from her :)Sep 3, 2017

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to be very flexible in my teaching style in order to accommodate diversity in students' prior musical training. For new students, I prioritize proficiency in note reading, rhythm counting, posture, and basic ear training. I provide each student with my unique set of lessons books and any additional materials I would consider helpful. As lessons progress, I assign graduated repertoire to both challenge and inspire the students, according to their individual needs and interests.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have achieved my Bachelor's of Music Degree in Viola Performance from the University of Arizona's "Fred Fox" School of Music, where I am currently pursuing my Master's of Music degree. I have been teaching violin and viola in Tucson since 2010, through private lessons, Tucson Junior Strings, Tucson Summer Music, Tucson Symphony Women's Association, and as a guest clinician at local schools including Utterback Middle School and Desert View High School.
