Introduction: I am Dana, an East European trained violinist. I am a member of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Disney World, FL and 'Tango Rendezvous International' who offers violin and viola lessons for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. I teach both remote and in person at my home studio in Apopka FL 32703. Music is my long-term passion and I feel that sharing my knowledge is an important part of making a difference in the world.

Dana is an incredible colleague, performer, musician, human being, and pedagogue. I have seen students improve exponentially under her guidance. They improved technically, and also musically, becoming strong, informed performers. Dana is always thinking outside the box, constantly adding new ideas and concepts into her teaching. She stays up-to-date with all the modern pedagogical writings, and never stops searching for excellence. Her pedagogical approach is a great blend of her strong Eastern European conservatory training with the contemporary American strings school. I strongly recommend her to everyone who is looking for a versatile, empathic, and dedicated pedagogue.

Dana has been a wonderful teacher! She has been able to help me with both violin and viola immensely. She has very good teaching techniques that I have found very helpful. Not only is she an amazing teacher, but she is also a very kind and patient person. I feel very comfortable playing in front of her. I highly recommend Ms. Dana to anyone that is looking for a great violin or viola teacher. With hard practice and Ms. Dana's mentorship, you will be able to play whatever piece you set your mind to!

Dana is not only a great teacher, but also a great player too! She performs at Disney World, the Orlando Philharmonic and lots of other places around central Florida. It's so nice to have a teacher that really knows what she is doing and actually practices what she preaches.

My lessons are $60/ hour (or $75 for 90 minute) lessons.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to first listen to any new student in order to assess his level at playing the violin/ viola and also talk about any personal goal/ projects, which are important to have as a general guideline.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master degree in violin performance.
