You don’t like to brag, but your house is pretty fabulous. You have the perfect couch, compliment-worthy dishes, and the cat generally refrains from destroying the place. But there are always a few problem areas, problem areas you just don’t quite know how to solve. Lucky for you, you don’t have to know how to solve your own problems. You just have to know how to hire someone who does. Which is why we’re here. Hi.
Are your walls covered in sticky hand prints, courtesy of your ambitious two-year-old? There are solutions – and they don’t have to include improperly taping the floors and cursing paint rollers. You can turn that tired white room into something fresh and bold without lifting a finger.*
*Fine, you do have to lift a finger to type your request into the search bar. Whatever, you get what we’re saying.
Just because your desk is currently a sad shade of faux walnut doesn’t mean you can’t turn it into something Pinterest-worthy. A little turquoise paint and some chrome drawer pulls and voila! Everything in your office looks better, including that report that was due last Tuesday.
It’s there and it could have a purpose, you’re just not sure what that purpose is. It could be beautiful, you just have no idea how. That’s okay. Pick an interior decorator with a similar aesthetic. They’ll come over, listen carefully to your ideas, completely discount all of them, and give you ways to turn that room into exactly what you want and need. Cardboard moving boxes and vague sense of despair, begone.
It’s one of those random tasks that will automatically upgrade the look and feel of your yard. But you don’t want to be out there on your hands and knees scrubbing concrete. Nor do you want to try to manipulate your garden hose into doing a job it’s just not prepared for. Get someone else to do it instead.
In the delicate ecosystem of plants, it’s easy to go astray. Ivy or flowering vine? Topiary or urn? Peonies or petunias? Nobody has time to make all those choices. Hire someone. They’ll even plant all those flowers and sculpt plant giraffes for you. All you need to do is keep them alive past next week.
Congratulations. Everything looks better.
