It’s been a busy couple of months for pros on Thumbtack—and we’re not the only ones taking notice. Molly Cole took time out from her busy (and we can only assume immaculate) professional organizing calendar to chat with Brit + Co about her top 5 tips for keeping your workplace organized in 2017.
The personal organizer’s video tutorial received over 4,000 views and comments thanking Cole for her “great ideas.” Her top tips include digitizing old records and keeping a wastebasket on hand to avoid sticky note pileups.

Private chef Graham Gathright shares his top Game Day recipes with SoCal Magazine.
Chef Graham Gathright of Chez Gautier Private Chefing, who specializes in relaxed unhurried meals to mark any occasion, gave SoCal Magazine a mouth-watering menu including Citrus-Garlic Ricotta Cheese Dip, Chocolate-Red Wine Braised Short Rib Sliders, and an “Adult” Mac-n-Cheese.
The article begins, “If you’re hosting your own Super Bowl watch parties this year, try upgrading your menu to these excellent game day dishes that will leave your guests wanting more, even after the game is over.”

The Huffington Post quizzed the California-based wedding planner on what it takes to build a successful business on Thumbtack, including how to choose good partners and what it takes to keep your working relationships strong.
Teamwork is key to her business success. “Our team’s foundation is incredibly strong and together we try and lift those around us to be the best they can be through encouragement, collaborations, workshops or even mentoring,” she explains. “Being selfish in a selfless industry is something that we do not see possible, and we work hard every day to be that change in the lives of others.”

Anna Bauer discloses the one home organizing rule she’s guilty of breaking to House Beautiful.
Even the tidiest among us will fall victim to clutter, as House Beautiful’s list of “The One Rule Professional Organizers Break in Their Own Home” makes clear. Anna Bauer, an architect of space-saving solutions in notoriously space-constrained New York City admits that even she isn’t above keeping a discarded electronics drawer.
In the article, Ana explains, “We have an electronics collection, cords I question and iPhones I should throw out or give away.” Ultimately, she admits, “At the end of the day, I’m human first, organizer second!”
