Cody Warren’s company, a high-end residential commercial cleaning company called Two Men and a Vacuum, has been on Thumbtack for about fourteen months, during which they’ve booked over 250 jobs. Using Dyson vacuums and all-natural cleaning products, they’re eyeing a worldwide franchise. Cody took a lot of time with the profile – answering questions, uploading photos, and featuring the company’s innovative and attentive branding approach. “It’s a numbers game,” Cody says. “Just the other day, we measured the ROI [return on investment] on Thumbtack. We’ve spent around $4000 and it’s yielded $28,000 in revenue.” Thumbtack has hands down changed their business. “A lot of customers say they put ‘cleaning service in Columbus’ into Google and Thumbtack is the first to pop up. It’s given us more exposure, more revenue, and it’s definitely helped solidify that we’re a great cleaning service.”
Cody’s Tack Tips
- Spend the money. “You’re not going to find any better ROI out there,” Warren says.
- Develop your profile. Give your customers all the information they need to make an informed decision.
- Respond quickly. “I’ll be out on a job and still responding to requests. They say don’t drive and text, but I drive and Thumbtack,” he laughs.
