Introduction: It's been a great 12 years in the San Francisco Bay Area, but it's time to move on to a new adventure. Effective June 16th, 2021 we will no longer be providing service to the Bay Area. Look for us this September in the Palm Springs area with expanded services. I and my staff are have completed our vaccinations and the waiting period per the CDC, but will continue to wear masks to protect our clients and their guests. Our efforts to keep you safe concerning Covid-19 include, but are not limited to increased sanitation of our kitchen, equipment, and vehicles; contact free food handling, food preparation and delivery; disinfecting of all surfaces we utilize; on site mask wearing, gloves, and social distancing. We are a small family business and have maintained social distancing throughout the pandemic to keep ourselves and our clients safe. We celebrate the power of food to bring people together, using fresh, local ingredients that are special to the San Francisco Bay Area. Every menu we create is customized to your event and your tastes, inspired by what is special about you, your event or your company. Our menu offerings provide unique experiences for your entertaining needs including brunches, lunches, barbecues, cocktail parties, sit down dinners, outdoor entertaining, office events and drop-off menus that create a one-of-a-kind experience. Each client and each event are unique and our pricing is based on the type of menu items you are interested in, the number of guests, and your service requirements. We're happy to offer services "a la carte" and provide you with as many or as few services as you like ranging from simple drop off catering to full service with floral arrangements, rental furniture and linens, tableware, glassware, bar ware and set ups. Our services are customized to meet the needs and budgets of our clients. Prices start at $500 plus the cost of food for dinners of 2 to 6 guests. Pricing beyond six guests is calculated according to the number of guests, service requirements and your final menu selections.

I want to acknowledge that I know that this review is long and may be all over the place due to my excitement to be writing it, but please take the time to read it. My experience with Chef Chet started weeks before I ever tasted his food. It started with the initial contact. Chet was responsive, clear, and thorough without being nit-picky about every little detail all at once. He was fluid up to the last 48 hours which I appreciated in our case. We used Chef Chet’s personal chef services when we visited the San Francisco area recently. We wanted to be pampered and having a chef was part of it. Chet offered amazing menu items but we kept our selections very homey. Little did we know that even “homey” type of selections would come with a twist of ingredients that made you dance in your chair and wiggle with each bite. Chet serviced us for for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He made himself available the entire 4 days to care for every single one of our needs as it related to our meals. On top of that the food was just incredibly, tantalizingly delicious. He entertained our palates with flavors we haven’t experienced yet. For instance, his Eggs Benedict was the best I have ever had in my life! The bacon and sausage was so flavorful and perfectly cooked! He made homemade lemon/ricotta/poppy seed cookies for us that melted in our mouths, his chocolate cake was divine. We had a mix of Southern California and Deep South barbecue dinner one of the nights and his potato salad and baked beans were out of this world! Our first night included a drop off meal of lasagna and salad since we got in late. I was expecting something that was just alright but this darn lasagna and salad were crazy delicious! The portions were also generous. Chet gave us full blown table service which was not required but he did it whenever it seemed appropriate, such as if we were all engaged in belly laughing joyful conversation at the dining table, and interrupting us to tell us that the food was ready would interrupt our flow. This is a Chef who enjoys his craft and it shows in his food and how he treats his clients. Will I use Chef Chet again? A resounding YES! I would fly this man out in a heartbeat to service my needs. He is a class act and at the end of your event you’ll feel like family. P.S. So sorry that I don’t have photos of the food. I was thoroughly relaxing and gobbling up the food as fast as he put it down over those 4 days.

Chef Chet Chase was to put it in one word - Awesome!! He worked with us with the menu options. He was very accommodating of our requests. He communicated daily as the event approached via email the number of guests, their food hangups and allergies. On the day of the event he was there 2 hours ahead, completely prepared and the quality and quantity of the food served, the service and professionalism with which it was done was bar none the best. Finally, his billing is clear, and payment easy. He even gave a discount for additional guests!!

Chet was the perfect person for an unusual request A great listener, with Good ideas, and lots of extra energy to make treat boxes for a 44 person zoom party festive. Rave reviews for his Brie in crut . He went out of his way to make everything fun and elegant. Very responsive to all requests a {can do} attitude .I. Highly recommend Chet. You will enjoy working with him. The man can cook and smile at the same time.

    Each client and each event are unique and our pricing is based on the type of menu items you are interested in, the number of guests, and your service service requirements. We're happy to offer services "a la carte" and provide you with as many or as few services as you like ranging from simple drop off catering to full service with florals, rental furniture and linens, tableware, glassware and barware. We're always happy to customize a proposal to meet your budget whenever possible.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We discuss their event by email or telephone, their preferred tastes and foods, the budget, review the venue (location), and I develop a menu tailored to the client. Once we establish that we are on the same page I sometimes like to meet with my client and take a look at the location so that I am best prepared to service the event, but it isn't always necessary.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Associates Degree in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu. Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management from Le Cordon Bleu. Certified Culinarian by the American Culinary Federation. Certifications from the National Restaurant Association. Experience in Milan, Italy; Savannah, GA, New York City; Miami, FL; and the San Francisco Bay Area.
