Needed to demo and replace the concrete floor in my garage and behind my home. I got three referrals from Build Zoom and Thumbtack. Service Concrete was notable because they were the only company of the three to have a CA license specifically for concrete work. The rest had general contractor licenses. Chris's bid was also the lowest of the three. And I could tell by the answers he gave when he scoped the project that he knew what he was talking about. We scheduled the job. He offered to start a day earlier. He had parking permits. He was organized. He needed no hand-holding. His crew just showed up and got the job done. He did the demo in one day, though we allowed for two just in case. He poured the new floor in one day. Then we just waited a few days for it to dry thoroughly. The new concrete looks great. My only regret was he could not deliver on my request for a low carbon emitting mix. To get it would have delayed my start date. I appreciated their professionalism and quality.

My project started on July 01, 2013.
I would definitely Hire Chris and his crew again.
Description Of Work: Started with some basic landscaping which turned into major tree/bush removal and installation of new fences around house.
My Comments about my project is Increase in jobs was due to quality of work, excellent customer service and good pricing. Always on time, worked hard to meet my expectations and would stay longer on days to make sure open items weren't left for the next day.
I would Share Chris his company with all Band of my Neighbors.

I'm not very experienced with contractors/construction, but I can say after dealing with the bad contractor I had, it was like light from heaven working with Chris, as well as his Foreman named Peter, and his crew. Chris is an excellent communicator which often will avoid problems down the road. I found Peter's work ethic to be impeccable. Their attention to even the smallest details reflects a commitment to pride of work, which is rare nowadays. The new Redwood Fence with design, windows and doors were installed flawlessly and the work areas were clean and free of debris. (Chris even refused to put some minor trash in my garbage can which I offered him to do, instead insisting on taking it with him!)
Regarding pricing, I didn't shop around that much, but I believe Chris offers a fair price and a fair profit for himself. In return, he doesn't nickel and dime and he will come back for any follow up work to make sure everything is perfect.
