- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a young child I suffered from eczema and acne as an adolescence. I received my first facial at the age of 13, that led me to understanding the importance of having a skin care regimen. That experience changed my perception causing me to become obsessed with clear skin. I had clear skin for over ten year then I started experiencing hormonal acne in my late twenties and started used makeup to cover my blemishes and hyperpigmentation. With holistic treatments, l was able to remedy my skin concerns with a plant-based diet, exercise and learning a specific regimen for my new skin type. I learned that skin is our largest organ and that we must care for it from the inside out. I enjoyed the process so much that with this experience I had found my passion an started my career an became a Licensed Esthetician.
