Jake helped me with training advice and nutrition advice when he used to live in the UK, before he moved to LA. His information has really helped me, both in terms of improving health and fitness levels. He is incredibly motivating and inspiring - and he was so keen to help me as an individual and find out what would work best for me. I didn't like 'traditional' exercise, like endless runs or boring gym machines - but Jake could find ways to mix it up, keep it fresh and interesting, and I even managed to have fun along the way! Lucas Enge is doing a fantastic job of getting me fit. I had been thinking about hiring a trainer to provide structure, direction and accountability for months. When I finally realized I would not have success on my own, I reached out to a few trainers. Lucas provided a free consultation and assessment. I appreciated his clear explanation of how his training program works. After consulting with two other trainers, I selected Lucas primarily because of his approach. It's clear I made the right choice. Lucas is very attentive during workouts - watching carefully and providing instant feedback, including photos and videos to improve posture and movement. The post-workout stretching is unique and very helpful to getting past those initial bouts of soreness. I like to understand why the workout is focused on certain movements or muscle groups, and when I ask questions, Lucas does a great job of explaining. Lucas is very focused on nutrition and makes it a central part of your fitness program. His approach is keyed to long-term success. He assesses your current diet (you maintain a food diary) and gives you feedback on ways to improve vs. requiring sudden significant changes. Lucas is friendly, patient, attentive, encouraging, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.
