Ted is extremely knowledgable about bodybuilding, the human body, and everything to do with bodybuilding competitions. I met him in the audience of a bodybuilding competition. I could tell that he really knew his stuff. He's been studying bodybuilding for 35 years now, that is rare to find in a trainer!! I could not believe how in shape and muscular he was when he told me his age. I thought to myself, "wow, he must be doing something right". He agreed to train me and I learned much more than I'd ever known about weightlifting and the workings of the muscles in the body. I will always be grateful for this knowledge, and I saw incredible results! I feel that I am stronger today than I've ever been and I owe this to Ted's guidance. His services are very reasonably priced, and he truly cares about you becoming your best self, he is also compassionate and trustworthy. He will help you grow and progress but he will not risk injury while doing it. He's very cautious and does not believe in pushing the body until it breaks, but rather, will show you the most efficient and smartest ways to reach your goals. He's a gem!
Last winter I was fortunate enough to meet Paul and start my physical training program. I approached Paul with the lack of motivation to push myself to the level I desired. I wanted drastic results. I was ready to sculpt my body into top shape after having my second child. Although I am accustomed to weight training and competed in Division I college sports, I was a novice to Paul's style of training. I am constantly challenged by his weight training workouts which are infused with explosive squats, plyometrics, and sprints to name just a few. After six weeks, I had achieved more than I would have thought possible. The benefits included: a substantial drop in body fat (my leanest yet), increased overall body strength and energy, accelerated stamina, stabilized mood after recently having a baby, and sound sleep. After two years, I still look forward to each workout, and prepare for each session like I am pitching in the college world series, as he continuously keeps me guessing by introducing new skills and methods to keep my interest.
I have been training with Kathleen for a little under a year and she has helped me tremendously! She is caring, patient and determined to make your workout the best for your needs not hers. I have a specific back problem that she is very patient with and will always make sure that whichever workout we do my back is stabilized. She also will thoroughly explain certain exercises to ensure why it is so important to keep your form correctly, which I personally appreciate since I am still learning how to workout safely without harming myself. If you are looking for a trainer who knows EVERYTHING from nutrition to great workouts she is perfect! I love working out with her because she is constantly helping me improve myself and motivates me to stay on track for my own health. Kathleen really has the best interest at heart...but do not let that fool you. She can really put you to work!
Aaron is a very motivational workout trainer/partner. He is extremely knowledgeable regarding different workout techniques and activities tailored for different body types and goals you'd like to reach. He not only instructs you, but teaches along the way. Aaron also provided me with great nutrition tips and even went grocery shopping with me. Working out with him did not feel like a chore, he made sure to make it fun. With Aaron, I looked forward to working out, we did everything from free weights, plyometrics, boxing, and sprints. It was nice to have a trainer who actually knew what he was doing and didn't charge a ridiculous amount to hire!
I really enjoy my workouts at Evolve- Brad is incredibly knowledgeable and designs our workouts to increase strength, muscle tone and balance-he makes sure that we are performing each movement properly so as to achieve the maximum outcome-the gym and equipment are incredibly clean, and constantly being upgraded. It's a great alternative to the big impersonal, hard sell gyms. I highly recommend checking out Evolve!
Joan has been my trainer for six months now. I've gone from being fragile and weak to healthy and strong. I had back problems and several injuries. She carefully crafts each session to keep me from reinjuring but pushing me to do much more than I would do on my own. She does extra research and comes to each session with new exercises and each session is totally different. She's patient, knowledgable and extremely fit. Most of all she's very encouraging and really cares. She's fun too!
I have loved working out with Triston for the past few years. He is everything you need (and want) in an instructor.......knowledgable, patient and tough. The workouts change daily and you always walk away with a sense of accomplishment. You will sweat, you will hurt but you will be happy. It doesn't get much better than that !!
I've always kept fairly slim by watching my diet and without having to work out. Then 40 years old hit and gravity kicked in. I was in denial for a few years and at 44 I realized I needed help. I tried crossfit in the park, pilates, yoga and quit them all after just a few sessions. I decided to give weight training a shot, but didn't know the first thing about it. Eileen has been a motivator, dietician and teacher. I've been seeing her 3 times per week since January 1st, haven't missed one and most importantly, haven't QUIT! I have done small group personal training but nothing compares to EPE system Stephe encourages (demands) perfection, it's the only way to get results! What I have learned at this gym is that it doesn't matter how many reps you do but how you do them this will eliminate injury and produce real results fast. Steven knows his stuff he has a heart of a teacher which is what I was looking for. I have learned so much here. It's nothing like crossfit it's better safer,and way more effective. I believe in Stephen philosophy of training I signed my whole (4) family up. He implements dead lifts,bench press, cardio with and without machines, you get full body workout!i highly recommend EPE training gym.
I have had the opportunity to train with Katie for about 1 yr. She always challenges me to give my all in our workout sessions. My muscle tone has improved due to our workouts and cardio Katie has me doing. Katie knows what works for me and changes my workouts for optimum gains. She is best trainer I have ever had. I have been a client of Cindy for over a year and have had great results. Four years ago I started to get back into shape with cycling and running. During that time I was with a different trainer who had me lifting weights. I was progressing but not in the direction I needed. I was spending 5 days in the gym lifting heaving but not gaining the strength I needed for my cycling. I then decided it was time to move on get a trainer who understood my needs. Since I've been with Cindy, she has taught me the principles of strength training and that I don't need to work out five days a week. My workouts consist of 1hr of circuit training, 3 days week. My flexibility and strength have improved dramatically in the past year and I'm spending less time in the gym. Cindy teaches how set realistic goals for yourself. I cannot thank her enough for what she taught me.

At the beginning of the year I decided to hire a trainer to help me achieve my goal of losing 10lbs and becoming a faster runner. I found Susie onThumbtack and hired her soon after speaking with her. Susie was my trainer for 5 months. In those few months Susie put together a diet that helped me lose almost 15 lbs and she helped me make healthier food choices. I only worked out with her twice a week but she made sure we maximized our time and kept me focused. Susie motivated me constantly. She knew how intimidated I was with many of the machines and the free weight area of the gym so she made sure to incorporate different equipment during our sessions so that I would be familiar with how to use them once I decided to work independently. Susie also incorporated interval training and plyometric excercises to help me with speed on my runs. Since I began working with her my average pace has improved dramatically. Susie was exactly what I had hoped for in a trainer. She is both professional and knowledgeable. She far exceeded my expectations.
I have been working with Dillon for a few months now and he has been incredibly professional and has worked tirelessly to gel me reach my goals. We focused on plyometric and body weight training initially and lately have been doing some moderate strength training.
