James installed a window air conditioner of course the window was not made for this but James took his time and figured it out and did a great job.
Jaime was on time, kind, courteous, personable and professional. He went above and beyond to take care of everything I needed done. From hanging shelves to leveling and securing bookcases in an apt with funhouse walls and floors that are far from level. Despite being here hour beyond his initial proposal, he then installed a hook for my air-drying fabrics and volunteered to fix some peeling caulking in the kitchen! Jaime went the extra mile on each step of the project, never taking short cuts. I felt extremely comfortable asking him for his professional opinion. I will definitely be reaching out to Jaime for the next project I need help with!
I hired Tim to install exterior window shutters after my original shutters were damaged in the rain. Tim was quick to respond to all messages and the project was scheduled that same week. Tim showed up at the scheduled time and completed the project in a timely manner. My new window shutters turned out great and I would hire Tim in the future for my handyman projects.
Brian did an awesome job. The repaired window looks great. He will our choice again if we should need a glass repair or replacement.
Mike has completed many home projects for me, including wood restoration and re-finishing, household repairs, painting and plumbing issues. He's always on time, courteous and does fantastic work! I call Mike for all of my home projects!
Wisk was a wonderful choice. Eric and Bill were very communicative, and did great work. We had them remove our fireplace and replace with 14' slider. They did all the associated demo, ordering, installation, tile, electrical, drywall and stucco work. They are pros from A to Z. We hope to use Wisk again for future projects.
We decided to install a hot tub in the backyard but needed a 220 connection away from the house. We tried to do some of the work ourselves by prepping an 18" trench for an electrician to come and wire. The soil was tough and the job harder than we thought. American Castles came and picked up where we left off, dug the remaining trench, connected the line, installed the box, and even recessed some of the line behind the stucco for a better visual. They didn't cut corners, showed up in a big team, and took care of everything without a problem. Price was reasonable. I would hire again.
Martin and his team were referred to us. We closed on Friday, we fumigated over the weekend, and they had our 1200sq ft house apart Monday morning. Here is what they did in only five weeks: Exterior: -Repaired the fascia -Replaced my window trim on all windows, and two of my windows entirely. -Painted the exterior -Poured a patio -Replaced a large side gate -Built and painted a picket fence -Installed a mailbox -Helped me assemble my patio furniture in their down time -Hauled away two truckloads of garbage from the yard and garage that the prior tenants left -Trimmed the trees to keep the off the roof -Patched the roof -took care of the loose wireing in the garage Interior: -Scraped all ceilings -Ripped out all flooring -Ripped out the tub and shower -Ripped out the vanities -Ripped out the toilets -Ripped out all base boards -Retextured the walls and ceiling -Build two doorways -Built a small wall to fix the hall -Reinstalled the bathrooms with new fixtures -Replaced all the ceiling fans -Replaced two doors to the exterior -stripped my sliding glass door of that terrible fogging-effect plastic - hung fresh bedroom closet doors -new carpet in two rooms -new laminate in the living room, office, hall -new vinyl in the kitchen and bathrooms -new baseboards -new kitchen cabnet with counter to match the others -re hung kitchen cabinets to match the other side (they were low) -full paint -smoke detectors -fire extinguishers -re-wired my unsafe attic -new switches and plates Basically, They made it turn-key, from a total dump. And they stayed within my budget. But what will always stay with me is the sense of deep care and respect I felt every step of the way. Our first experience. Never were we blown off of treated like novices. Every time I share pricing with friends who have had work done on their homes, their eyes bug out at how wonderful our pricing was! They always went above and beyond. Like, meeting other people (the surveyer, the city for utilities, the garage door guy, the Apliance delivery guy) so that I didn't have to take work off. Like lending a hand with our last few boxes when we were moving in. Like staying around until my husband made it home on they day he got lost so that I wouldn't be alone in a new neighborhood after dark. Like working weekends to get it done. Like touching base every day with updates. Like helping me spray my yard with flea killer. Like always having a good laugh ready to share. Like answering my stupid "what-the-heck-is-this" calls weeks later when something native to the neighborhood would turn up (mostly bugs). I am so grateful. Also, It's been months and nothing has gone wrong. Our life carries on (knock on wood), and we don't think about trivial house stuff because it's all done.
Loft area. George is knowledgeable about different paints and techniques. His work was careful and skillful, and he neatly solved a problem I had with excess caulking under the molding. Would hire again but would add days to his estimate. Good work takes time.
Joe finished our Kitchen and Bathrooms remodel by adding pulls and knobs on new cabinet doors. He also did caulking on the exterior of the home. Joe was on time, and did a beautiful job. He fixed some issues we had from the previous contractor. Very polite, knowledgeable, and we would hire him anytime.
I hired Guilmar for patching up holes on my drywall and polishing my ranch style living room, he and his his guy finished the work promptly and brought life into my living room. These guys helped me out with few minor works I requested and were very glad to help me out. I am hiring them for additional custom work in a weeks time, so will update on it. Overall Guilmar was awesome and reasonable in pricing, he made me feel that I took the right decision hiring him.
Florin did an awesome job repairing and repainting my bathroom ceiling and window seal. Both were peeling due to shower moisture damage. He was professional and cleaned up after the job was complete. I recommend him if you need a contractor!
Just imagine how sweet it is to have your contractor change out your water heater. No Fuss no Muss ! Its awesome when you don't have to sweat the details yourself.
Working with Raul, our contractor was a positive experience. He helped build and add a 500 sqft new addition to our 1961 house. He also helped with major improvements to the rest of the house. In a way, he rehabilitated the house with, new framing, plumbing and electrical in the entire house. They installed custom wood windows and doors throughout the house. He also installed the flooring, tile work and cabinets. Overall we are happy with his workmanship and delivery. We did have some problems with his plumber but he stepped in and finished the job. Raul is a great guy and easy to work. He is honest, easy to work with and he delivers. I would work with him again.
Chris and Al were very friendly and professional. They washed the windows inside and out and cleaned baseboards. Worth the money just for that!
I have used Jim many times for a wide variety of repairs and services. There are not enough good things I can say about him. He has rebuilt my wood gate, done plumbing repairs, drywall, and many small repairs including sewing to fix my blinds. My list was long and wide. Jim did it in no time and was always on time. I highly recommend him and with his affordable rates will continue to use him for all my handyman and installation needs.
A Cut Above Painters was amazing. They were easy to communicate with, on time, and did excellent job. We have darker paint, which can be difficult to use, especially with light accent walls. It looked great and we were very happy with Pete and his crew. Will hire again for any painting needs!
I highly recommend Todd Keizer. Todd has done several projects for me. Some big and some small. He has replaced interior doors, door and crown molding, baseboards, remodeled a bathroom and built an amazing patio cover. He has painted and moved windows and doors. Always with excellent service and workmanship. Recently he did a complete kitchen remodel. Anyone who has done a 6 or 8 week project knows it can be stressful. He made it as painless as possible, listening to my design ideas while adding his own. The finish kitchen is beautiful and I could not be happier. The quality of his work is outstanding.
We recently hired Sun State Glass to install a frame-less shower enclosure and replace an old, failing insulated glass unit in an exterior door. When evaluating contractors I consider three core factors (in no particular order): time, quality and cost. The crew from Sun State Glass showed up on time and finished on time; The quality of the finished installations meets our expectations in all respects; Their bid was the lowest of three we obtained and we are happy with the value received for the price. I can recommend Sun State Glass for this type of work without hesitation.
Quincy has done three last minute call items for me from lathe and plaster, exterior plumbing and electrical. Always dependable, exceeds expectations and reasonable pricing. Other pro contractors on the site compliment his work! He is now first on my list to call.
I take pride in making the customers home look better than before I started. It makes a difference in look of home
