Thank you Oscar so much for doing such an amazing job re-texturing our son’s bedroom!!! I really appreciated that he stayed in contact with me throughout the whole process! When Oscar first came out to look at the job and quote it I felt he would be good for the job and got a professional vibe from him. The first day Oscar and his crew came also got a professional feel. Then the next time he didn't come but sent one of his crew members to handle the trim after painting and he did a horrible job. He missed sections of the trim, in my kitchen I have light oak cabinets and he painted a section of the bottom of my cabinets with the trim color which was white as if they were a baseboard, also got paint all over the floor and never cleaned it up. He was here half the day and only painted 5 baseboards. I understand mistakes happen and I called Oscar told him what happened and asking him to come and look at it. He said he would but his wife came and I showed her and she agreed with me about not doing a good job and would fix all including the mistake of painting the bottom of my oak cabinets as if it was trim. I never heard anything back so I called and spoke with Oscar asking when he would be back to clean up plus finish the job. He came back to look at the mistakes I had told him about plus I also showed him several areas that where not painted at all and others that needed another coat he agreed and said he would come back the following Tuesday but he never showed. Since then I left 4 messages and text him 3 x and still no response. I waited a while before doing this review hoping that he would come back and fix the problem areas and finish the job that he has been "paid in full" to do but nothing.
Here is a list of problem things that he just left the way they were not fixing them:
* Guest bathroom was suppose to be painted a different color plus another color to paint stripes. He painted it the same color of the other rooms, when I brought it up he said the color that it was suppose to be would be next time and was waiting for his design guy to paint the stripes but never happened.
* Guest bathroom I wanted the shower doors taken out and he said yes he could do that and repair where the railing went that held the doors and allowed them to slide. The first day he took the shower doors out along with all railing but never repaired where it was all attached he just left it.
* Never painted the doors
* I was told not to move anything that they move all and cover prior to painting, we'll there where items up against the wall on my bar and they never where moved they just painted the wall down to the top of the items and stopped so when I moved the items "which was house spray Glade cans, hand lotion bottles you can see where they where and no paint behind them showing they only painted to the top not removing the items.
* The ceiling when you look up has uneven areas.
* One wall in my living room has drip marks the size of the large paint brush and was never smoothed over.
* My clock that I had setting on a table the table was covered but my clocked had paint all over it how that happened don't know.
* When I was putting things in my cabinets over my refrigerator I seen there was paint all over the top of it.
* Each room that they painted had paint drips left on the floor that was never cleaned up and dried.
After showing all the above to Oscar he said when he came to finish painting on Tuesday all would be fixed along with my guest bathroom painted as agreed up on with the different color and stripes. I trusted his word to me but then he never showed back up and never returned my calls or text.
