Economy Home Repair is an outstanding company. Kris and his crew of three painter/construction staff did a very profession job on my house. Every detail was attended to. Most of the window frames needed repair and they expertly did the repairs. They thoroughly spray/washed my house prior to the painting and sealed and caulked everywhere that it was needed. The painting was completed very professionally, which included the oil decking on the front and back steps. My house now looks beautiful and like new. My neighbor was raving about how great my house looks with its new coat of paint and the fine white paint on the trim. I was very much surprised when Kris first gave the me the quote for his amount to do the job. It was so much less than I expected it to be, but Kris insisted that it was an equitable amount. Kris was very quick to respond to my initial request on Thumbtack for the painting job. He contacted me right away. The whole painting job was completed in four days and all the ground around the house was cleaned up of work debris. Kris’ Economy Home Repair did a great job on my house and I am very happy with the result.

Kris was very professional from the very beginning; He looked over the property and gave me ideas on how to increase the value of our home and provided a proposal and stuck by it. It took exactly 5 weeks to complete and have my house up and ready to sell. His crew painted inside and out, remove dry rot from the outside of the home, restored front door, re-built our fence, removed all the left-over clutter from the passing of my mother. Kris also did the most compassionate thing by taking my mother beloved dog (Bella) to his home with his family, I never seen Bella so happy. Economy Home Repair did a wonderful job and would highly recommend.

I highly recommend Kris Kaehler and Economy Home Repair. During our initial consultation, Kris was receptive to my project goals, knowledgeable of the industry and market, and candid in giving feedback on what would work well. He gave very good suggestions for exterior paint colors and a clear timeline for completing the job. Because of his professionalism and attention to detail, I asked him to work on interior painting of my entire home, installing floors, and updating two bathrooms. I am more than pleased with his crew's work and staying on schedule. Throughout the exterior and interior projects, Kris was accessible to my calls, informed me of both progress and issues, offered solutions, respected my home, showed regard for my neighbors, looked after his crew's well being, and insisted on doing outstanding work. He is straightforward in his approach to the job and has high standards of workmanship for himself and his crew. If I had any more work to have done, I certainly would ask Kris to consider taking the job!

Kris Kaehler was my point of contact throughout the project. He was easy to get in touch with and he was very good at working with me, in an empathetic manner. Kris coordinated the painting of our entire home. He and I even drove around the neighborhood to check out other home colors for reference. Kris has a great crew and he values them greatly. Kris is able to anticipate issues and communicates them very well. I'm very satisfied with the outcome of our home.

Nope, very easy, a straight forward price that I garantee not to exceed, unless we add more work, and clients always add more work, when they start, just do this, then they see how good we are and say, can you do this and this also....

Yes, any and all classes that vendors offer, they are always bringing the newest and if you don't learn, then your behind the times, and in this field, you will be out in no time.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Watching my dad build the most beautiful houses in Marin. Fell in love with doing hard work and seeing the results.
