I was in search of a handyman for myriad of repairs for my rental property back in August of 2010.
I ended up doing a serach on Yellow Pages and came across Mark's advertisement.
Mark provided an oustanding service. He was even able to meet me at the rental property on the same day that I contacted him even though it was a little late in the evening.
All his work was exceptionally well done. We had a really old bathroom exhaust fan that needed repair. Instead of recommending a new one he was able to find the part to repair it and save us a lot of money. He also did lots of cosmetic work for our walls also. We also had him hook up the new tenants icemaker to the plumbing and he got that done very well.
His prices are very reasonable also.
I would not hesitate recommending Mark to friends and family.

Mr. Mazur's work was sloppy and quoted prices that went up after the fact. I was at home, he did extra work that wasn't authorized and demanaded payment. I had to clean up after him several times. He painted drywall a completely different color at first. He did not complete the work he said he would do which included putting greenboard above shower stall. He actually plugged up the bathroom sink with putty that he had used. I had to go to Home Depot to put a better and less expensive fan on hold and he didn't give a discount appropriate to the price difference. He called me an ASSHOLE for asking him to complete the job and never gave me the closing work order after being paid and asking him for it. I do not see how he could be on Redbeacon or Angies list and will most likely sue him for clogging up the very work he was there to repair.

I have been a Handyman for over 12 years as well as self-employed for over 25 years and have never had an experience with a customer like this. The project I was hired to perform was to finish drywall work around a shower that was not completed by a previous contractor, install new vinyl tile floor and replace 2 faucets, water lines and valves in a different bathroom. As for the shower, he asked me to install the missing drywall utilizing green board. The area above the shower he is talking about was already drywalled. It was never discussed nor included in the estimate. The green board was installed in the none completed areas as discussed and estimated. As far as the "extra" work I performed, I removed the 3 layers of vinyl flooring so it would be level and it was to his benefit and I asked him to approve a $50 additional labor charge (less than 6% of the total job). He complained, so I said if he could not get it approved by the owner of the property, then I would understand. I never "demanded" payment, he let me know that the owner of the property approved the additional charge. I asked him about the paint and he said it was ok. When he said he did not like it, I repainted to match, no questions asked!! He accused me of plugging the sink, so I did the honorable thing and sent a plumber to fix. The plumber informed me that the clog was caused by the vent pipe being clogged above the area I worked on. Basically impossible for me to clog. I was not responsible for the clog but made sure it got fixed. As far as the "better, less expensive fan", he did the foot work and I discounted the price(he felt I should have discounted it another $8). He took it upon himself to find the fan, I still had to go to Home Depot to pay for it and pick it up! I completed all work asked of me as well as patching 2 holes that were not originally estimated and I repaired them for free. This individual spent more time wasting my time by asking me to do more and more for FREE because I was there. I am guessing that the contractor that installed the new shower did not finish the job because this guy drove them insane! I do admit to calling him an a*&hole, but he kept threatening me with a law suit and I do not operate that way. I take great pride in my work, I guarantee my work and he is the first negative comment I have had in 12 years as a Handyman!

Mark is very reliable and does good work. His does a good job of following up and keeping you up-to-date on the status of the work. His billing is fair and organized. I would recommend him to others.

Mark gave me a very reasonable quote to install 2 bathroom exhaust fans/lights. He was on time for the estimate, cheerful, and professional. He was not pushy and allowed me time to make my decision. Six months later (after finding the right ones), I was final ready to have them installed. Just a quick email and Mark was there within a few days to install them. He also replaced a very old and corroded garbage disposal - not an easy job. He was conscientious about protecting the area he was working in, efficient with his time, and cleaned up thoroughly after himself. I would not hesitate to hire him again and would recommend him to be best friends and family members.
