FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lesson and training prices can be found on my website
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since I am PATH Int'l Certified, I am required to do at least 20 hours of continuing education per year. This can be completed by taking lessons, going to clinics or horse expos. I do much more than 20 hours to continue my education! I have worked for various trainers in more advanced fields of western riding (Reining, Colt Starting, Natural Horsemanship, Cutting, Ranch Sorting, Western Pleasure, Trail and Gymkhana) and continue to seek the help of other equine professionals. I believe that you are never done learning and you only hold yourself back if you do not continue to work on your own education.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up in Bellingham, Washington on a small farm. I have been riding since before I can remember as my mom is also a horse lover/rider and my dad is a Farrier (horse shoer. My passion for horsemanship grew as I got older and I began showing as well as teaching lessons and training for another trainer. From there I knew that I wanted to build my career around horses.
