Before I took Jacquie's bubbling and rainbow meditation class, I had no idea that I hold the power to help heal and protect myself on a daily basis. Being empathic, I pick up lots of energy everywhere I go and this can make for unnecessarily stressful and emotional times, but Jacquie gave me the tools to help cleanse and shield myself and stay comfortable everywhere I go. I also love working with the angels to help cleanse my energy and my surroundings - something I had no idea I could do until I took Jacquie's class! Jacquie is understanding, compassionate and wonderful to work with; I highly recommend her class and healing sessions.

I was interested in learning more about spirituality, Reiki in particular. Tehani helped my understanding of Oneness in through allowing Reiki. I became level 1 Reiki Practitioner in two sessions of one on one student-teacher style going over basic chakra healing education and application to healing people. The last session ends with an attunement to able to do Reiki healing for others. She is amazing - super friendly, caring, self aware, loving, full of worldly knowledge/wisdom and shares her stories with teachings. She is always available to talk to whenever needed and is flexible with her classes and wants everyone to be included that wants to be included. I highly recommend Tehani's Reiki School by the Beach

We clicked, connected and that was about 10 seconds before I learned she was the yoga teacher I had been looking for since moving to LA. Living in sight of the Hollywood sign means it is sometimes hard to find yoga studios where the focus is on more than just the physical. S.W.A.N. Yoga is a haven for those who find themselves on the path that looks beyond the body and mind. Stephanie's gentle and kind guidance carries her students through resistance of the mind and body into a place where the spirit of yoga moves freely and with ease. I started taking classes in a group setting with Yochai about two months ago and now I just finished my month of taking private lessons on a weekly basis with him. I still take classes with him a group setting also. I’ve had some great yoga teachers but so far I do have to say that Yochai has an extremely sophisticated knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics. It’s been amazing to see how my body responds to the subtle cues that he gives. He walks you through movements and helps you focus on the anatomy of my body by saying things like, “now imagine that you are pushing your heel back even though you aren’t” and those types of cues help me get so much more benefit and alignment in each pose. His cues have helped increase my strength and stamina. I have over 100 pounds to lose and do yoga hasn’t been easy for me, but since I started studying with him I can feel a change in my body. Since I started my private classes a month ago I have already lost 10 pounds in one month, I can feel changes in my muscles, I can feel and sort of see my core. He pushes me farther than other instructors have but he does it in an inspiring way and step by step. One day when I was beating myself up he showed me a picture in the past of him being overweight and it really inspired me. Yochai has helped me with practicing the poses and I find it very helpful how he shows me how to use the wall and props like blocks and straps to have better alignment in each pose and build more strength. He’s also highly intelligent and also discusses other aspects of yoga with me; for example he gave me some documentary recommendations and gives me some good for thought as I am on my yoga journey in more ways than just the physical practice. He’s helped me so much due to his knowledge of the body that it’s helped my alignment to the point that about 4 occasions that My body was so well aligned that I felt as light as a feather and if the difficult pose was easy. He’s also helped me learn how to breathe better. I’m very satisfied with yochai’s services and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to begin yoga or anyone who has practiced for a while and wants to push themselves. Honestly I’m not very easily impressed but I think he’s very gifted.
Phyllis used a number of techniques such as guided meditation and hypnosis to help me focus and realize my goals. After our sessions I felt relaxed and filled with positive insights which made it possible for me to see a path forward. Sometimes all that is needed is for someone to remove the blindfold you have gotten used to wearing.

Madeliene is a very experienced and skilled Yoga teacher. You can tell she cares and knows her craft. She is approachable and very kind and I love that she really adapts the class to my needs and my mood, so its ever changing, my level improves each time I see her. I am highly recommending Alyne Keller for any and all types of body work. Alyne worked for me for several years at my business, High Street Yoga and Massage. I personally have experienced 1/2 hour--2 hour full body massages, neck and shoulder, Thai massage and foot reflexology sessions. I have never been disappointed. I believe she is literally "gifted" and a highly intuitive massage therapist. I have been a Yoga teacher for more than 20 years and have had much experience with massage. I know I speak not only for myself but for countless students who consider Alyne "the best".
I have gone to several classes run by both Haruna Asakawa and James Uriu and I have found the classes to be reflective, healing, and energizing. This is now my favorite yoga system because it focuses on gradual growth and stretching, meditation, breath, and working with your body to improve health and flexibility - not overworking like in so many other yoga systems. This isn't the typical "cardio-workout" yoga with so many "downward dogs," Haruna and James both use original sanskrit to name the poses and each exercise is a natural progression of the last one. It gives me the moment to slow the world down and become more in-tune with myself. I highly recommend the Original Yoga System and Haruna and James as thoughtful and patient instructors!
A yoga teacher who is a REAL person. Like, she doesn't sugar-coat things. Devon makes yoga fun and accessible. You will not regret training with her. When I do, I get excited to take chances and try postures I've been previously too scared to even attempt. Can't recommend Dev any higher!
I invited him to lead a 3 days workshop at my studio in Sayulita. The whole experience was far beyond my expectations. I worked with many yoga teachers before and I can say Oleg is a TOP 5. Chan Meditation in the Park is great. Every Tuesdays we meet at downey wilderness park and meditate together. It helps me keep meditating with those that support each other.

My private yoga session with Whitney was incredible. I have been doing yoga on and off for for 6 years now, and I have always paid attention to posture and alignment, but some of the micro-adjustments Whitney gave me blew me away. Poses I have become comfortable in over the years took on a whole new meaning. In poses where I normally feel very confident and powerful, Whitney guided me into very small adjustments, and in one of them as soon as I took the adjustment, tears started rolling down my face! It was so beautiful and so powerful. Whitney truly makes her yoga sessions a (w)holistic experience. Truly connecting mind, body, spirit, breath, movement - all parts of yoga. Her class was an exploration into deeper parts of my body and system, and I was so impressed and excited - particularly as someone who teacher meditation and breathwork! I can not recommend her enough. If you’ve never done a private yoga session, or never done a private yoga session with someone as in-tune, powerful, and knowledgable as Whitney, get ready to get your world rocked. She was so detailed, and adjusted the sequencing with ease to accommodate what my body needed in the moment. Afterward I felt centered, grounded, and empowered because of the connection I gained to parts of myself that have never been accessed. And, as an added bonus she takes the time to tune in to your body and energy centers in shavasana using shamanic healing techniques. I truly can’t say enough about how impactful this experience was.
