FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically my basic wedding package includes the shoot, edit, and a DVD. All basic packages under $1000 are Edited to Please. By that I mean that I balance the colors, lighting, remove minor distractions and crop to bring out the potential of a photo naturally. Clients may receive a web gallery to share with friends or family, and a DVD or Dropbox depending upon their preference and budget. Weddings (Gold) packages above $1000 will typically include a professional retouch package for the Bridal session in addition to the standard package. By this, I mean full artistic retouching on skin, color, lighting, filters, sculpting, to give that dramatic fashion magazine or artistic pop. Depending on the client's budget, it may include a mini layflat album that the client can pick and choose pictures. It may also instead include a print package add-on. The Platinum Package is the ultimate bundle starting at $2000+ and includes custom designed and curated leather-bound wedding album and engagement look-book, full professional retouching of all photos, a canvas or metallic print, photo package, web gallery, and a custom DVD or flash drive. I will actually conduct separate modeling and pose sessions with studio/mono lights for the look book, as well as walk-through the client on the exact style and highlight they are looking for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I actually trained as a professional wedding photographer from a company in Japan called Satok. My specialty was seaside chapel and beach weddings.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved photography. It's been in my DNA since I toted a 70's Instant Polaroid around as a kid.
