Introduction: In terms of marriage counseling, my expertise is drawn from personal experience. Having been previously divorced and now the head of a blended family with grandchildren, I've learned much the hard way. I'm not clinical in my counseling, I'm personal. My calling is to create highly successful, thriving marriages. To that end, I take great interest in my clients and their lives. It is never just a job. My first ever counseling experience was with a couple who wanted to divorce after dozens of affairs (yes, that many!). Today, they are so in love its almost a crime. I got to be a part of the change in their lives. That is what I love the most about caring for marriages. I love to see people recover from their circumstances and experience the wonderful joys of marriage.

Andre & Angela did several months of premarital counseling with my husband & I before our wedding. They were excellent counselors, leading us in talking through a variety of issues pertaining to marriage. They were good listeners and had a lot of wisdom to share. They also made the sessions fun, something that we looked forward to. I appreciate their hearts to serve others through helping them improve their marriage relationships.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I read every marriage, counseling, and relationship text I can get my hands on. I am constantly looking for resources for couples to use. And I'm working on my doctorate in counseling sexual addiction.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

After my divorce, I needed a counselor. The guy I talked to changed my life forever. I wanted to do that for others. When I met Angela, I discovered a soul mate in this work. Together we began in divorce counseling. As we worked on our own marriage, through many difficulties, we started back to school to learn how to counsel more proficiently and to make this our life's work. Every couple we meet and work with become our friends. We keep in touch by email often and get to see them go on to help others.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I want my customers to know that this isn't a profession to me. This is my calling in life. I was made by God to make marriages successful. I believe that successful marriages change society and transform the world. I want to leave a legacy of sensational husbands married to magnificent wives.
