Di's House and Pet Sitting

Introduction: I am an experienced house sitter. I provide home security, home maintenance, and/or animal care. I have cared for domestic animals (horses, cows, and chickens), as well as pets. I have considerable home improvement and gardening experience, and would be willing to discuss small projects to be done in the home or garden while you are away. I have been house and pet sitting around the world for the last several years. I recently returned to resume my residency in California. I am primarily interested in long-term situations (months or years) and am willing to travel to accommodate these positions. I am currently completing a 6-week commitment in Aptos, CA for a family that is primarily interested in home security during their absence. Previously, I cared for two dogs over an 8-month period in Costa Rica. Home upkeep and security were also important parts of this job. I completed several home improvement projects (painting, varnishing, sewing, and tidying), as well as a substantial revamping of the garden during my stay in Costa Rica. Before Costa Rica, I had several 2 to 6-week long positions while in Australia; all involved animal care. References are available upon request.
