Working with the Trainers at Train, Inc has been one of my most rewarding experiences! I have received the individualized care and encouragement I needed to healthfully begin an exercise program. The staff is professional, experienced and able to work with any caliber of client – experienced or beginner. I began my training in December 2009, having used a cane to walk for approximately two years. Within less than one month I was able to live an active life – without my cane! I slowly, healthfully and steadily progressed in exercises, resulting in loosing 155 pounds. This is an exceptional facility for anyone serious about improving their life!

I have been a client at Train for 6 years and I love it. The fact that they tailor an exercise regimen for my specific needs is crucial. As I approach 60, I realize that balance, bone and muscle strength, and weight control are really important. Lynda has always made that a focus in my workouts, and I feel confident that I am not going to be falling and breaking bones as I age. Lots of variety in the workouts and what they have to offer - there's something for everyone!

After I broke my hip and was through with Physical Therapy I went to Lynda at Train to speed my rehab. It was the best and helped me so much. Lynda especially gave me the confidence to do more and taught me patience too!

I had such a great experience at Train. Lynda is such a great trainer love, love her. I'm a runner, and had some weaknesses that need to be improved, Lynda helped me achieved some of my goals I wanted to meet and also strengthened areas that needed improvement to prevent injuries. If you like a calmer environment to get your fitness needs this is the place to go. Also, my trainer evaluated what fitness level I was at the time and worked with me at a pace to where I can achieve my goal.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Absolutely. As NASM certified trainers we are required to recertify every two years and this is achieved through continuing education credits. Our CPR/AED credentials needs to be renewed every 1-2 years.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask tons of questions about their services! A reputable and professional personal trainer should be able to fully answer any question or have or at least the resources to find the answer for you. Make sure you do your research about the various personal training certifications available and make sure your new trainer's certification is up to date. The top certifications are ACE and NASM for basic personal training. If you require more specialized training such as sports specific training or athletic coaching, make sure they carry the appropriate certificate.
