Its tough to put in words how thankful I am to have met Kandis and to have benefited from her instruction. As someone who had never really practiced yoga, I was completely terrified to begin these lessons. Kandis put those fears to bed within the first two minutes of meeting her. Kandis is warm, thoughtful, patient, and completely focused on the practice and her students. She helped me feel at ease as she led me though the basic poses and the importance of breathing. I've had the privlage of taking several classes with Melissa and felt amazing after each and every class. She great at helping accommodate when you have certain restrictions. Over time I became more flexible and was able to last an entire class without wanting to die.
I've taken multiple yoga classes here and they are fantastic instructors. The partner yoga workshops they put on are so unlike any classes I've ever taken. You should try it out, with friends or your significant other. Also their meal prep service saves me a ton of time and the food is delicious!

Degenerative discs in my lower back plus difficulties in a hip have been troubling me for a couple years. Sierra has been working with me for almost a year to optimize exercises I was given in physical therapy by combining them with meditation & healing yoga. She has a wonderful positive approach & is very knowledgeable & pleasant.
I have tried yoga several times in my life, and it never stuck. I always thought I was not flexible enough or strong enough. But after hearing from my friend about their experience working with Holly, I decided to give it one more try, and I am so happy I did. It has truly changed my life and now I can move better and breathe better. I look forward to my yoga session every week even if I am tired and especially if I am stressed out. When I was busy with a work project Holly was very accomodating with my schedule. The one on one session works much better for me than the group classes I tried before.
Christine recently started coming to my house to help me learn yoga. She spends a lot of teaching me stretches, which is very helpful before doing yoga poses. Her simple guidance has been invaluable in improving balance. Love her calm, positive energy.
I really enjoyed taking yoga classes from Karen. She is attentive, embraces beginners as well as more advanced students and you can clearly see that yoga is her passion. I highly recommend her classes :)

I am so grateful to have found Apoorva More Yoga on Thumbtack. I was in need of private in-home yoga due to an acute case of Adrenaline Fatigue caused primarily by stress. Apoorva has taught me restorative poses and breathing exercises that have been helpful in relaxing me and reducing my stress level. I would highly recommend her for anyone desiring to develop or strengthen a yoga practice. Besides being kind, empathetic and nonjudgmental, she is very skilled in modeling and teaching yoga so that one can optimize the benefits. Under other circumstances, I would not have thought of private instruction, but now realize that I have gotten more out of my sessions with her than the various classes I have taken over the years.
I typically practice yoga in SF, but when in the East Bay...I do as yogis do & enter the world of serenity & positivity at So Yoga & Healing🙏🏼 The marvelous Margaret led her classes with constant professionalism with a welcoming & casual approach. I appreciate how her classes begin with student participation honoring special requests (e.g. focus on lower body, hips, core, etc.) or considerations (e.g. those with ankle injuries, weak backside, etc.). Most especially, I enjoy each closing savasana that allows one to decompress mentally, emotionally, physically - this is made possible because of Margaret's subtle, yet effective use of aromatherapy oils, a sweet treat every time! And lastly, what makes this class astounded original is the rhythmic beats of reggae tunes accompanying nearly each asana that Margaret carefully guides her students through: cannot wait until the next time & that's for real mon! All❤️one❤️for So Yoga & Healing❤️💛💚
Mariana provides a highly personalized experience that makes me feel real progress. I initially started working with her because I wanted to push myself during workouts, but was amazed at how her focus on form, breathing, and nutrition have pushed me to another level. I used to think the formula was all 'no pain, no gain' - Mari helped me focus on new habits (like static stretching and yoga) that help me recover faster and perform stronger. I have been working with her for over 1.5 years and can confidently say she helped get me to my prime athletic condition. Cannot reccomend enough!

Wow, Alia has made me realize why I as a beginner yoga student need individual lessons. I've tried group lessons of 20 ppl or more and yes the yoga videos. She was very thorough explaining/demonstrating breathing, posture, form and etc. Then as i attempted pose/breathing she would guide me to the balanced form at my level. It finally made sense and it actually worked! Now why only 4 stars? Well, Alia has moved from San Diego to San Francisco without me, her favorite student hehehe No worries she had referrals for other coaches and I will definitely see her when I visit SF.
I have taken class with Rebecca for over 8 years. Her classes are full of spirit, laughter and soul. She is particularly wonderful at teaching alignment. I cannot imagine my yoga journey without her guidance. She is a fantastic teacher and person.
I walked in anxious, self conscious about my body, skill & ignorance concerning yoga; my mind filled & worry laden, my body dejected & my spirit overwhelmed...I walked away clear minded, peaceful, calm and dazzling within myself. Maureen was patient, she taught me how to listen to my body & breathing, gently guiding me through technique for maximum benefit! LOVED IT!!! Regina was amazing to work with! She immediately recognized things about my body that I've been struggling to identify for years. She gave me clear and specific tools that I can apply as I develop my own practice and attend other group classes. Elika is a wonderful vinyasa flow teacher. The flow is steady paced to all levels and makes you sweat while calming the mind and spirit. The has a sweet disposition and is thoughtful about supporting students with injury with modifications. Take her class...you won't be sorry!
Gina took a very personal approach when we started our lessons. I suffered from sciatic pain after a lower back/ spasm injury due to a bulging disk so decided to try yoga to help strengthen my lower back and lessen my pain. She was always prepared with different poses to improve my health. She has a true passion for the practice and helping her patients. Gina was in it for the journey with me and I really appreciated that.
