What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Notary Publics are required to take an 6-8 hour in class or on-line course to renew their license every 5 years. I subscribe to The National Notary Association so I cn keep up on changes, updates and most importantly SCAMS that are sent to me via email quite often. Keeps me in the loop.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I mostly prepare documents, and travel for mobile notary.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When hiring a notary public or process server. Make sure they have experience. Notary Publics are everywhere and the laws change and some do not keep up with the changing laws. Ask how long they have been doing it and ask them when the last time the notarial wording was updated with the Secretary of State. They will need to know that "I certify under penalty of perjury" was added recently.
