Introduction: I revel in turn arounds, people and business. Buidling new business and making good businesses great almost always requires coaching people also. I bring great energy and focused attention to the table, because I love doing it.
My work stands out because: 1.The strategy provided identifies core changes that must be made before any significant results will occur. 2.Designing a plan and process.
3. Assisting with implementation is part of the projecct (This also applies life coachig).
Consider this all too common scenario: A company on a downturn calls in a business consultant to find solutions. The consultant spends time observing, questioning and assessing the situation. He then provides a document identifying shortcomings, offering solutions and outlining an overall strategy. The consultant collects the fee and disappears. The company leader(s) feel enlightened and stimulated so they meet to discuss it.
Then . . .ultimately no real change occurs! There may be nothing wrong with the strategy offered by the consultant. The problem is expecting great results from the same culture that caused the deterioration in the first place (usually through inaction or ineffective action).
Some companies require some simple, but important adjustments, while others require wholesale changes. Done correctly, implementation begins before the project is complete. This usually comes in the form of new processes and systems that become part of the culture. The result is increased revenue, sustainable growth and a great workplace environment.
Watching people come alive! Whether business or personal lives, too often people degrade into dull routines. But watch them wake up when involved with something that truly excites them!
When working with an individual, it is very rewarding to observe as they allow their true selves to emerge. In this society we get so busy doing what we are supposed to do or what others expect us to do, that it is very easy to get lost. We forget about our dreams or feel we never have time to pursue them. Instead, ask what excites you, what makes you feel alive. This gives clues to who you really are and begins a process of allowing our true self to emerge.
I love watching business leaders come alive and get excited about the new direction of the business. This results in businesses that deliver more value for their customers and a better environment for their employees. In turn, the organization thrives and affects the community in a positive way.
