Yes, some would think that one wood blind is the same as any wood blind. I regretfully found out that this is not true. I thought I would save time and just purchase the builders window blinds package that was offered when I was selecting the options for my new home. Well, after only six months of living in my home the wood blinds started to warp and crack. They made my brand new home look terrible. It was a terrible investment. I found Made in the Shade Blinds & More and they were able to schedule an appointment with me the following day. They came and educated me on the fact that all wood blinds are not alike and I just wasted a lot of money. They were able to show me wood blinds samples, explain and show me the difference between the wood blinds they offer and the ones installed in my house. All of the window treatments they offer come with a limited life-time warranty. The kicker is - I paid just a little bit more than I did when I purchased the builder package. Made in the Shade Blinds & More is an excellent company and I highly highly recommend them.

Shirley Ann is gifted and talented. She gets it! She has the ability to see through the fog...see beauty everywhere. She holds space for others to get it. She is amazing, LOVE in action! I have been working with her for about three years now on various projects that run the gamit...from my home, my office surroundings to me. She works from the heart, yes the business part is there too but oh there is so much more! Even though most of our work together is done online -- it feels like she is right there with you. My only regret...that I didn't take advantage of her "in person" complete package, a VIP day is simply not enough.

My son and I had moved from a large home to a much smaller condo. This change was an emotional rollercoaster for me. I had to consolidate a lot of my furniture and just decided that I wanted to start over. The most important spaces were my son's room and my bedroom. I wanted this transition to be as easy as possible for him. After a lot of research online, I found that JC Cross was the most reasonable and I loved that she was timely in responding to me. The process was a little long due to her schedule, but it was worth it because what mattered most was the outcome. Nikoya did a wonderful job with my room. It's exactly what I needed. It feels so good coming home to a room that i feel so comfortable in and that represents me. But my son's room was the best. She gave him storage and created a space that he is so happy in. Sometimes I have to beg him to come eat. He stays in there as much as he can. It's a relief for me that he has joy during this big change for us. It really helped us settle into the new journey our lives are on and Nikoya really cared about us as clients. I highly recommend her!
