Kandis is wonderful. My boyfriend and I wanted to get back into Yoga, and having her come teach us in our home was the best decision. She went at our pace and made us very comfortable. My boyfriend distinguished her from past experiences by noting that she explains the importance of each pose to every day life. For instance, how one pose helps posture and another helps increase air capacity in the lungs. I look forward to our next session!
Everyone advised me against learning swimming as an adult but I took a chance with Veronique as my swimming-instructor and she proved everyone wrong. I am a BIG person and she made me overcome all my phobias and helped me learn. She is a really patient teacher and respects your limitations, and yet pushes you subtly to get out of your comfort zone. I am really happy that I found her and I highly recommend her as a swimming instructor for both kids and adults. The best part is she slips in a little bit of workout and Yoga tips into your swimming class, which helps you A LOT once you are in water and actually swimming :)
I've taken multiple yoga classes here and they are fantastic instructors. The partner yoga workshops they put on are so unlike any classes I've ever taken. You should try it out, with friends or your significant other. Also their meal prep service saves me a ton of time and the food is delicious!
Dana is a radiant and gifted yoga teacher. She has a light and beautiful presence about her and teaches with warmth and care. I've taken her advanced yoga classes and found them to be both fun and challenging. Dana rocks.
Kylie was very professional and skilled in taking me through the yoga poses. The session was very relaxing and fulfilling.
I've taken Jackie's classes many times at a number of different studios in SF; each time I learn something new and leave with a good sweat! For me, it's the perfect combination of meditation, stretching, core workout and yoga flow.
Sierra is a wonderful yoga teacher that I have been working with for over 2+ years. Her classes offer a time for students to meditate and calm their minds, as well as stretch their bodies. She's able to adapt positions to help the many different needs of her students. She is quite knowledgeable and constantly learning and sharing her knowledge with her students.
My experience with Ferox Yoga was a very pleasant and informative experience. When I scheduled a private session with Claire, she was very quick to respond, and she provided me with a questionnaire that addressed all of my needs, goals, and noted any injuries I have/had. I am a male individual in my late twenties, and I lift weights about 4-5 times a week. I don't have too much experience in yoga, and I'm not all that flexible. A few years back, I had spent about five months recovering from a lower back injury from doing deadlifts improperly. Since then, I've recovered, but I've noticed a lack of strength in my lower back which I noted in Claire's questionnaire. Once we began the private lesson, she assured me I didn't require any previous experience. We focused heavily on my form and breathing through many of the starting poses, and she showed me a lot of different exercises that helped to strengthen my lower back. Claire was extremely supportive and patient throughout the entire lesson. Also, her bubbliness and kindness are one of a kind! My first experience with Ferox Yoga was amazing. By the end of the session, my entire body felt energized, and I had gained more knowledge from Claire about yoga than I'd ever had. She was a great instructor, and she did such a great job accommodating me considering my lack of experience and past injury. I would highly recommend her regardless if you are an avid yogin, recovering from an injury, or totally new to yoga. She is great!
My experience with So was always never to miss doing a class with So. She cared about the students and spent time showing us in the best way possible. She was very generous in her love for Yoga
With my work schedule I was very close to give up on yoga classes until I was referred to Natalia by a friend. Now I'm able to continue my practice with an incredible teacher who's not only able to adapt to my odd schedule but has renewed my love for Yoga helping me achieve poses I've spent years struggling with in just a few sessions. If you're reading this then you're taking a step in the right direction. Book a session with Natalia and remember why you started practicing Yoga.
Jaime is a wonderful instructor. She has a keen understanding of the 'urban yogi' experience--what it's like to have a life, while maintaining a yoga practice. Don't expect unapproachable lingo and esoterics in her class! Instead, expect to work, sweat, laugh, and re-center. I highly recommend her!
Sevika is an amazing teacher and is always attentive to the needs of her students . Her instruction is precise and based in a great knowledge of yoga practices. Her kind spirit shines through out the class and students always feel welcome and comfortable.
Wow, Alia has made me realize why I as a beginner yoga student need individual lessons. I've tried group lessons of 20 ppl or more and yes the yoga videos. She was very thorough explaining/demonstrating breathing, posture, form and etc. Then as i attempted pose/breathing she would guide me to the balanced form at my level. It finally made sense and it actually worked! Now why only 4 stars? Well, Alia has moved from San Diego to San Francisco without me, her favorite student hehehe No worries she had referrals for other coaches and I will definitely see her when I visit SF.
Regina was amazing to work with! She immediately recognized things about my body that I've been struggling to identify for years. She gave me clear and specific tools that I can apply as I develop my own practice and attend other group classes. I highly recommend Regina to anyone looking for a more personalized introduction to yoga. I will be booking again with her very soon!
Mari is such an amazing trainer, yoga teacher, and health coach. She looks at the whole you, listens to you, and creates a program that will work with your life and your schedule. She is truly amazing!
I have taken class with Rebecca for over 8 years. Her classes are full of spirit, laughter and soul. She is particularly wonderful at teaching alignment. I cannot imagine my yoga journey without her guidance. She is a fantastic teacher and person.
Ericka is amazing! I wish I could give her one thousand stars. She's helped me push myself and in turn I've become stronger and more confident in my practice. Highly recommend. Thanks Ericka!
Wendy is an awesome coach, very knowledgable in real life solutions to our everyday physical & mental health maintenance. Her workshops are in depth with hands-on participation to grasp a deeper concept of the exercises. High vibration in spirit and worth working with!!!
Tamara was a sheer delight to work with, as I brought her to my yoga studio to teach a special Acro Yoga Workshop. Her skill level, as an instructor is impressive & captivating. This along with her ability to teach to the diverse group that showed up, she truly creating a “container,” for the room. Can’t wait to have her & her assistant, Meaghan back again!

I work with clients to build personal strength -- inside and out. A typical session can last two hours and includes yoga, Pilates, resistance strength training, breathing exercises and mindful practices. I can also do running programs for building strength, endurance, and speed. I provide Ayurvedic and whole food dietary support and create programs to follow on days we do not meet. I can tailor any work out to suit your needs and goals.

Finding a yoga teacher is such a personal decision that I cannot really answer this question but I try my best to listen to what the client/student really wants to get out of this time so that we can meet this goal.
