The prospect of finding an officiant for our wedding was a little overwhelming at first--until we met with Danny. After sending out a few inquiries, we were immediately impressed after our first conversation with Danny. We chose him right away. He has a natural gift for delivery and approaches weddings with a sincere dedication to storytelling. He offers a variety of ceremony options and enhanced our vows with processional music during the ceremony and playlists during cocktail hour immediately after the ceremony. He seeks to get to know a couple before he officiates their wedding and is patient through every step of the process. Danny is a pleasure to work with and we will recommend him at every opportunity.

There were a few major things that went wrong with this officiant 1) they said my name wrong in the ceremony 2) they stated a part of our story wrong in the ceremony 3) they texted me an hour before rehearsal to ask if I was the couple that said they didn’t have to attend the rehearsal anymore (we weren’t) 4) we were told we would be able to see the script beforehand (which would have fixed issue 1 and 2) but this never happened 5) they were late to both meetings with us and the second meeting wasn’t even about what we were told it would be about (our story and them getting to know us). Also if you are going with them because you see catholic wedding know that there will be no rosary part, the bread and the wine is only for the couple and it is a piece of bread and cranberry juice.

Alicia-Marie, we are so sorry your experience with us was not what you had expected. We value your feedback and take it very seriously. A couple concerns: 1.) As far as your rehearsal, we believe that Danny was there and helped lead through the process. There was a location issue and I believe that’s why he phoned you an hour before. But, no matter what we take the blame here and apologize. 2.) As far as the Eucharist, we believe Danny informed you he could not give it but could give communion. He informed you he wasn’t a Priest. But, no matter what we take the blame here and apologize. 3.) As far as your other issues, we are so sorry for this experience and will make the changes to our process so this doesn’t happen again! We wish you and Keith nothing but the best! It was an absolute pleasure to be part of your BIG DAY!

Danny is a very experienced officiant, kind, patient, punctual and will set up has many appts needed to ensure that he is there to help. Day of the wedding he was ready to go, looked great, was there early and made our ceremony personalized to us. It was beautiful, he was organized, communicated clearly and really told our story to our guests. Made us laugh and cry. We loved him. Thank you Danny we are so pleased with how the ceremony came together, blessings.

Danny was great! ! We initially had him booked for our wedding ceremony that we had to postpone due to circumstances but he made himself available to this one. We asked Danny if we can add or eliminate a few things from the ceremony script and without hesitation he did. He worked with us and gave us an amazing ceremony. I would highly recommend Danny to be Officiant for your wedding day.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our complete ceremony cost $250 and includes: No upfront deposit Initial/follow up consultations Personal writing of ceremony script Personal help with writing vows Day of officiating services **We are not a notary and cannot obtain your wedding license. As a couple, you will be responsible for obtaining your own wedding license through your respected County Office.**
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like the chance to get to know each other before the event. I can work with you through email/phone/text/Zoom.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a Wedding Officiant for over fifteen years. I have done weddings from the smallest and quaint, at sunset on the beach. To the large and complex, with the bride and groom arriving on horseback. I have also been a public speaker, featured writer, featured blogger, featured podcaster for over ten years. I write and speak on such topics as leadership, marriage, parenting, finances, current social issues and other popular topics. I am a licensed and ordained reverend with the Universal Life Church.
