Very happy with Sergey's work. The wiring job turned out to be more difficult than we first expected but he took his time and made sure the job was done right. We will definitely use his services again for our next project.
We had an issue with our electrical wiring where our dryer was hooked up and they were able to fix in the same day!
Ricardo is a diligent electrician who genuinely wants to do a good job. He is reasonably priced, knows his stuff and works hard. He is good at planing the times he is available and forecasting how long the project will take. He showed up on time and did the work. At times, you may want to be sure to over earlier specifications when he arrives for the day so there is no miscommunication in what is expected and what will it take to accomplish that. My job was fairly complicated as it involved ceiling, wall, panels and wiring for a variety of devices that are not normally used. I'd hire him again.
Darin installed over a dozen recessed lights in my house, some of which required complex routing of cables through studs and fireblocks. He also installed an electrical outlet on my patio, which required cutting through the wall of the house. He did all of his work carefully, asked for clarification when needed, and provided quality work at a great value. Never once did I regret hiring him! 100% recommended.
Matias did a great job with my electrical installation. He installed 4 new circuits, a few outlets, and upgraded the wiring on my subpanel. Everything was done in a very professional manner, and it is clear that Matias knows the electrical code inside and out and makes sure the job is done right. I'll be hiring him again for any future electrical work.
Ashkan was extremely friendly and professional. I really valued his feedback. He was patient and had some really good suggestions and ideas on how to upgrade my electrical panel.
Ali is a professional electrician and very honest. He has done a lot of electrical work for me including recessed lights, ceiling fans, new outlets, and switches. I recommend him for electrical works and will certainly hire him again.
Had an electrical issue that other electricians could not resolve. Juan took his time and did test after test and ws able to bring my power back, we are so glad to have chose them in all honesty . We recommend !
I had Lions Gate install two electrical outlets for me. Very friendly, fast, and great service. Was able to get someone to come out the next day and take care of my needs. Will definitely use them again.
Michael contacted me promptly about having an outside outlet moved and possibly upgrading our electric panel. He came by to discuss and gave me a quote. He's an honest, straight shooter that didn't try to give us a runaround and no hidden costs. He worked on our project over 12 hours, to ensure we had electricity in all rooms that same day. I'm extremely happy with his service and would highly recommend him to anyone needing electric work done.
Craig is so good at helping me finish our photo sensor replacement. He also help me fix my electrical panel for free. He is always willing to answer my all questions.
Noel and his helper are incredible to say the least. Noel is truly a MASTER electrician. There is nothing that he can't solve or fix. We had a 2 story addition on our home and Noel had to literally troubleshoot every outlet and switch to get them to work. I was worried that we would have to rip out drywall to fix the electrical wiring...wHicham we did not have to do. Noel always stayed calm and was able to correct all the electrical issues we had. By the time he left, we had all switches and outlets working. He also works incredibly fast and effiecient. He never takes a break, or slows down while he's on the job. He also comes prepared with everything he needs and he and his assistant are both incredibly polite. After watching his magic, I am convinced that there isn't any electrical issue that he can't solve...he is truly a MASTER electrician!
Yong found out wiring below our electrical panel didn't follow construction code. He provided sound advice for resolving with our building contractor. Yong was accurate with his availability and came on time.
Vova Electric fixed the problem with my main electric panel ( (a bad 90 Amp circuit breaker connecting the sub-panel), but also found a more subtle (but unrelated problem) with respect to a redundant current path between two other circuit breakers Vlad was very easy to work with and provided detailed explanation/clarification when needed
We needed an overhead light installed in our bedroom, and then wired to an existing on off switch in the wall. When Mike climbed into the attic he discovered that our air conditioner was covering his access to the wiring to that on off switch. But Mike figured out an alternate solution which took more effort and longer, but he completed the project quickly, and did not charge us any extra for his time. Very professional and easy to work with.
I think the best and truest value in working with the Majestic team is the access you get to their apparently infinite knowledge of electrical wiring, installation methods, and building codes & regulations. Beyond the great professionalism and fantastic work quality, to talk to someone who can really break down not only your options for how to get the work done, but how to merge your costs and your time for the best possible outcome can't be stressed enough. Thank you very much Nasar and company! You've got a customer and a referral for life!
We completed a whole home remodel in 2014. We updated all of our wiring and the electrical panels, the home still had some knob and tube. Jeff and his crew were professional, passed all inspections and completed the job on time!! One of our only trades that completed as promised. I will definitely use them for our future electrical needs!
First of all, I love that within minutes of signing on with thumbtack and letting you know that I was in need of electrical work and a panel upgrade, someone from Momentum reached out to me almost instantly. He set me up with PM Nathan Lefebvre who came the next morning and gave the house system a look and from there we discussed what I needed. He promptly sent me an estimate and things progressed quickly from there. His crew arrived the following week and did the job in two days as promised. In addition to the panel upgrade, they also installed a 240 volt outlet in the garage for an upcoming g electrixa vehicle charger. These guys were efficient, and professional and have kept me in the loop through the permit inspection of their final work. My wife and I are very happy and confident that our house can now take on the load of an EV.
We first met their team when a salesman cold-called us. It took us a while to make a decision about what we wanted to do, but once my wife and I decided to move forward, working with Shmuel and his team was excellent. I can't say enough good about them. The project involved removing a bathroom, adding a bathroom, removing and remodeling a kitchen, adding hardwood floors, adding a gas line, upgrading an electrical box, moving HVAC ducts, wiring and hanging a chandelier, tile for a fireplace and mantle, and painting. There were structural walls that needed to be modified. They promised to get the job done in six weeks, in time for an important family gathering we had planned. We were skeptical, but bet on them, and they came through. In any project of this size, there will be unforeseen issues that come up. In all of those cases, Shmuel was excellent to work with. Some examples are: - Once we saw the lighting in the new kitchen, we wanted an extra light over the sink. He tore-up some of his work and added it and charged us for the hardware only. - We wanted a cabinet added by our front door and another by our laundry room. He added it to the work without question, and charged only for the hardware. - We decided we wanted to replace the stair railing. He helped us find bids from railing experts, and charged us the bid without any contractor markup. The extra work disrupted his planned work schedule, but he worked around it to make sure we were still done on time. - The vent over the kitchen range appeared too low to us, even though it was within code. He replaced and installed the cabinet with something smaller. No charge. - With all the demolition, he accidentally lost our Nest thermostat. When this was realized, without any questions or me having to ask, he apologized and picked-up a new one, at his cost. Some other examples of the excellent service: - Shmuel and Shalhevet helped us pick paint colors and pick kitchen appliances and cabinet styles, traveling to a number of stores with us. My understanding is that most contractors would just tell you to pick something and leave you to figure out the details. - They allowed us to live in our home during construction. At the end of each day, they spent time blocking-off areas and moving equipment (as required by code) to make the site safe for our children. He could have easily just insisted we spend a month in a hotel. - All the little things. For example, we never discussed replacing the flooring HVAC vent covers; he bought beautiful new ones that matched the wood floors we chose. We never discussed replacing outlet faces, but he felt it wasn't right to repaint and leave the old worn outlet faces. They are highly recommended!
I wholeheartedly recommend Ian Russell Designs for their timely work, accessibility, courtesy and expert craftsmanship. We are so excited about the work Ian and his crew did on our home! It was a work of real technical expertise combined with the sensitivity we had hope to find in a contractor. I recently became the owner of the big, old home where I grew up. We were basically trying to restore the whole place to its “former glory”. And details mattered. Ian immediately assessed that the wiring for interior lighting was going to have to be completely replaced as the home was built in 1896. Some upgrades had been done, but Ian felt that even those were now a safety hazard. I had told him this was going to be a stretch for us financially, but that we were going to try to make it happen. He gave us an estimate for the rewiring of 11 rooms and the option to add 5 fixtures of exterior uplighting. We were able to get together the finances and the work began. One of the things I liked about Ian and his crew was that they seemed to actually appreciate different features of the house and recognize the original artistry of the early builders. When they completed the interior work, they left the house completely clean and free of debris. (You might expect that, but it doesn’t always happen nowadays.) The garden had never had lighting and now has 5 uplights for the oaks and the flowering trees. In addition, he added little submersible lights among the rocks along the stream that runs down the hillside between the upper and lower patios. And he didn’t charge for that feature. My dad would have been delighted. The final product is a safely lit interior with warm light illuminating the old beams, the inglenook, paneled dining room, and bedrooms, with bright light for the bathrooms and kitchen. And a spectacular garden area. We’re still solvent, and very proud of the home. The Ian Russell Design craftsmen did a beautiful job and the key to their success is that they listen to you. Joan M.
Mason wasn’t one of those guys that just try to sell you something you don’t need. I recently bought a house and was interested in some can lighting and possibly replacing my electrical box because it was old and the inspector said it was out dated. Mason looked at the overall system and was very thorough. He made recommendations that were in my budget and provided great American quality product as a replacement. Mason is a master electrician. No job is too small or big. He is certified in the state of California and to me that’s comforting to know. If anyone is thinking of upgrading a electrical box, replacing or adding lighting this is your guy. He is also great at outlets and dosent backstab like all the other guys. I will definitely be calling mason back in the future for all my electrical needs.
