Started going for violin lessons (I'm in my 20's with no music background). Had only a couple of classes so far. I really like the pace and her style of teaching. She is professional and very easy to work with.

Kelly is an amazing teacher. 100% on time and sometimes even goes over time just to make sure that I had fun and know what to practice on my own. He's patient, engaging and really friendly. I am 31 yr old and I do not feel embarrassed at all hitting all the wrong keys in front of Kelly. Best piano teacher there is out there! I would recommend him to my family and friends.

It has been 20 years since I last took piano lessons and had to start almost from the beginning again. Very happy to have found Miles, whose knowledge and ability to impart it simply and concisely is excellent. I am gently challenged while still having fun, which is the perfect combination. Looking forward to my own progress with his guidance!

Fantastic player, even better teacher. Dylan can play any style and can teach as much music theory as you want, but also has no problem learning a song by ear and teaching it to you 5 minutes later. Want to learn a song note by note, while perfecting every technique used along the way? Yep, can do that too. Lessons are as intense or as relaxed as suits your style. Highly recommend.

Joann is a wonderful knowledgeable piano instructor. I stared my son in weekly piano lessons with Joann at age 6, last year. I was very impressed with her ability to teach the basics in a way he understood and connected to. He likes and respects her and is eager to learn. Joann is very relaxed, patient, and positive with him. I am very pleased! I would definitely recommend her to other potential students, young or old.

Rebecca is a passionate and amazing person. She is very knowledgeable about music and works to help her students develop their skills while finding ways to help them enjoy music. She works with your pace and allows you to play the way you like to play. I have learned under Rebecca for almost 2 years and it has been great. She was able to help me learn pieces in which it would take me a while to learn. I learned a lot of the fundamentals and also technique including scales, arpeggios, and how to transition between octaves. I was able to play a wide variety of music from classical to movie soundtracks, modern, and even music from games! I had a wonderful time learning piano from her and her cheerful and upbeat attitude has kept me going in learning piano. I highly recommend her to anyone trying to learn piano!!!

Holly responded quickly to all of my questions about piano lessons, her background, schedule, etc. She was more than willing to give me references from other families that have children taking lessons from her. My daughter is a beginner. We have been taking lessons with Holly for a month now and my daughter enjoys working with her and seems to be picking up the skills.

Both of my children go to Fame Yamaha Music Center. It is really a school of music and I can't say enough how happy we are. My 5 year old just started and he is so excited to go to class. My 8 years old son started when he was 5 and he is still enjoying learning to play piano at the school. Ms. Gloria has a gift to teach children and a natural gift to teach piano and music . She has so much experience and she is also very kind and caring to the child and parent. The Yamaha course is wonderful because it has beautiful and fun music for the children and develops as they grow in age and in their skills of learning and playing. They learn, not only playing the piano but also rhythm, sing notes, and skills on how to sing. Ms. Gloria is an amazing teacher and we are so lucky to have found a music school that is professional and child friendly, supporting the children to blossom and to develop a love for music. The Center also has guitar classes and art ( painting too) Claudia F.

I studied advanced theory and composition with Alden two years ago and feel like I really grew musically. I'm a self-taught pianist with little knowledge of theory, and Alden was able to create a custom course for me that took into account the musical knowledge I already had put couldn't put into language. He created theory exercises for me and taught me advanced harmony, we also analyzed pieces by a variety of composers which allowed me to integrate new vocabulary into my own music. I thoroughly recommend him as a teacher both in composition and music theory!

I have been taking harp lessons with Diana over the past few years. Diana is such an inspiring instructor that I travel almost 60-90 minutes each way to go to her class. She is the most caring, fully present and motivating instructor who listens, tailors her method toward the student's interests and skills that makes the whole learning experience a true joy! She has her own magical and unique way to get the pure musical interest out of the student to help him/her practice and meanwhile enjoy music! She is always available on email to answer any additional questions and sends music materials to enhance the learning experience. Her music background is also very international which makes this teaching/learning a very special experience. I consider myself very lucky to find her as my music instructor!

As a student composer, I took private lessons with Dr. Ciach in both music composition and electronic music synthesis. I have to say that they were some of the most rewarding and educational lessons I have ever taken. Dr. Ciach is perfect at offering the perfect direction to your compositions without taking away from your own personal artistic voice and character. His breadth of knowledge and deep compositional understand make for one of the best mentors I have ever experienced. I highly recommend him to anyone interested in studying music composition.

About

Have you ever wanted to sit down at a piano and entertain someone by playing and singing a song? Have you ever wanted to just sing or just play? My name is Casey Robbins, and I offer voice and piano/theory lessons to adults and children of all ages. With over 10 years of experience in the entertainment business, I offer classical vocal technique lessons and a unique theory/improvisation-based method for the piano. My goal is to teach you the basics fast so that creating music becomes a joy for you that will last throughout the rest of your life!

About

I have a student-centered approach, which involves being attentive to how the person learns and the caring for focus of their intentions -- what they hope to learn. I've been teaching private guitar lessons 'formally' since 2001, shortly after graduating from the Musicians Institute's professional guitar and recording arts programs. During the last six years, I have also been an instructor of music theory for audio engineering students as well as for students of psychoacoustics at the Globe Institute in San Francisco. This is college-level music theory presented in a condensed format with specific applications in mind. Myriads of nationalities, cultures, ages, genders and musical backgrounds accompany the people who make up those classes, and they have helped me develop the skill for relating this material to all manner of people simultaneously. As a result, my one-on-one classes are even more enriched. My goal is to help you reach your goals in the most simple and joyful manner. The basics of what I offer are as follows: * Guitar -- Most Styles, Beginner and Intermediate * Recording Software -- Logic, Ableton, Native Instruments, Etc. * Music Theory -- Beginner and Intermediate * Ear Training * Composition * Songwriting * Audio Engineering/Production -- Beginner * Inner Music Theory -- A Psychoacoustic/Sound Healing Approach * Piano -- Beginner I also offer a generalized musician package in which any or all of what I teach is thoughtfully organized for your goals. Included are basic vocal coaching, percussion rudiments and loads of other pertinent basics.
