Great service! I have struggled for years with keeping my space clean and organized and hired Michael to help me with an overhaul of two rooms in my apartment - including both a re-organization and redesign to make my space as relaxing, beautiful and easy to maintain as possible. Not only was Michael responsive, flexible and easy to work with, he was able to do it all on a budget, helping to scout affordable furniture and decor in addition to the legwork of coordinating deliveries etc as needed. In a matter of weeks he was able to get done what would have taken me literally years to do myself. I am very pleased with how my space turned out and would recommend him to anybody who needs a little help to reset and recharge your dwelling!
As a long time San Francisco real estate agent, my clients sometimes need help clearing out a home of a recently deceased relative, especially when my client lives on the other side of the country. Madison Kane has helped me in situations like this twice and each experience has been exemplary. Another client was so busy with his job he simply didn't have the time to organize and maintain his home. Madison did it for him and continues to help him on a monthly basis. Jane is an angel is the true sense of the word. She is kind, caring and gentle in her approach. She is a certified Konmarie consultant. Only one of 13 in the US. Impressive, however that alone is not why she is a superstar. She is a teacher in the true sense of the word. This kind of work is challenging. For me, this is emotional as well as difficult. I am sentimental and have lost so many people close to me and some of the things I have are the things that were passed to me. These memories are hard to let go. Jef has cleaned house for me for over a decade- always on time and moreover, I trust him to clean when no one is home. The house sparkles when he leaves, perhaps because of the environmentally safe products he uses. Last July, my husband who has Alzheimers, broke is leg and was either in bed or in a wheel chair for 3 month. Jef thoughtfully and efficiently worked around caregivers, friends, and the dog. Jef is great with Jim and other disabled people. I've recommended him, and friends in my Alzheimers group also use Jef's services. Also, Jef does more than clean- he cleans out, if you need that which I did and do. For example, the pantry with 8 shelves of food stuffs needed to be "worked over and cleaned out." Perfect job! More over, Jef's a great organizer! If you need closets, basements, or whatever Jef does it. And, Jeff is great to be around.
Monique has practical advice and wasn't precious about the process of decluttering like with Kon Mari, where you are supposed touch every item and decide if it brings you joy. I'm not knocking it, it's a beautiful concept if you have the time. Monique was able & willing to run with some organization & sorting while I worked, and then helped me make decisions and move on. We had 3 sessions and the last was focused on the kitchen & systems I can put in place to keep order around the house.
