According to analysis conducted by the United States Department of Education, students with access to information about the cost of college and the options for loans and scholarships matriculate at a higher rate than students and families with less financial literacy. * College Admissions Overview This course is designed to give students an introduction to the considerations involved in applying to college, including test scores, the personal statement, financial aid, letters of recommendation and presentation of academic achievement and extracurricular involvement. This course is ideal for students who have not yet taken the SAT, as it can frame and deepen their engagement with test preparation.
