FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every Job is different so theres no fixed price some jobs needs more preparation than others and I don't charge by the hour I don't think it fair for the customer. For example if we take slightly longer on a job the customer would pay more or if I had to go to the Doctor's or take a phone call while working wouldn't be fair, I prefer to put a price on the job and the customer knows exactly what they are paying.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for starting work with a new customer is try to be as fair as i can to make the client feel comfortable as well as myself, Also getting the Customer Involved as much has I can & take photo's from start to finish and give the customer as much information as possible. A deposit is always asked for and on large jobs you pay the deposit then we do 25% of the work before been paid the next installment. Also to be very clear on what and how we will be doing so not to shock the client when walls start to get knocked down etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken my BA construction in the United Kingdom & at the moment there isn’t a license for my own products, I only need a handyman license so i’v Been informed as a lot of my work is with my own products which is so new people haven’t heard of it let alone seen it. Also I've got my synthetic, Epoxy & Polyurethane & Polyurea Certificate, But you can sit in a classroom as long as you like ! Getting on the Job's Hands on is the Key.
