Jocelyn's Editing and Freelance Writing

Introduction: I worked as an editor to an online publication (Splash Magazines) for several years. My position was directly under the Editor in Chief and I managed several interns as well as dozens of writers. I also worked in editing and copy writing for 944 Magazine for two years. I've written many reviews for films,restaurants, products, and services, as well as reviewed and reported on hospitality and red carpet events. I have very strong grammar and writing skills, which I love to teach when the opportunity arises. I view the written word as an art and I love to use uncommon words in my writing in order to expand the reader's inner visual of whatever topic I'm uncovering. There are so many fascinating words in the English language that we don't use often enough in our every day lives. This, I feel, is my expertise. To draw out details, educate, and inspire with words.
