Introduction: Hello!
I'm a guitar teacher who lives on the Westside. I grew up in Beverly Hills, and I currently teach music at Camp Creative Space during the summers; I give private guitar instruction to kids starting at age 7.
I love watching kids learn the instrument and become little songwriters. It's a wonderful practice to keep their minds working, and really helps in math and science education.

I play in a band, and I have my own solo project. I am a working rock musician, and sometimes that can be fun for young kids to see their teacher as a an actual practicing player. All the best and hope to meet you soon.
I charge $40 if one comes to my studio for lessons, and $50 to drive to your home.

Jesse has been teaching my son since age 8 (he is now 11). He is absolutely wonderful. He is knowledgeable and talented, as well as a really cool dude (he has his own band) that my son looks up to. He is terrific with kids. He has taught my son so much and fostered his love for guitar and music.

My son can't wait for his weekly lesson. Jesse is patient and fun, and as my son says, 'extremely cool'. Now that my son learned the basics, Jesse is teaching him the songs he requests to learn. Needless to say, this makes the experience that more enjoyable and relevant. Jesse is always on time. I'm not sure how he does this, as he does not live close by, and is fighting l.a. traffic. In fact, there have been many occasions when he has arrived at our house before we did! My son has learned way more than we ever expected, and at a much faster pace than we could have hoped. I have no hesitation in HIGHLY recommending Jesse.

Jess is a fantastic guitar teacher! He is fun and patient and knows instinctively what lesson would be perfect for that day. Highly recommend!
