FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While my rates are generally hourly, I offered discounted rates with when buying 10, 20, and 30 hour packages. I charge more for more specialized help (e.g. college, law, nursing, business, graduate school) and there can be premiums on jobs for which the time crunch require me to drop everything. Depending on the situation, I may offer deals for returning clients and may offer a finder's fee for clients who bring in referrals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Establishing a personal connection with my clients is essential. If we vibe, trust develops and communication improves and everything gets easier. Sometimes I'm asked to help clients in last-minute situations -- you're already stressing, so my first job is to reduce that as much as possible. From there, it's all about being 1st Rate: Reliable, Attentive, Thorough, and Expedient. Once you can trust you have an ally at your side, the impossible suddenly becomes manageable.
