Introduction: Most photographers will try to stay in their 'comfort zone,' because they know the terrain (or studio) to give clients good, (most of the time) but very predictable results. We are constantly 'thinking outside the box.' Heck, we burned that darned box years ago. It's all about you, our client. We'll make it work!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Talk on the phone, and meet in person before the shoot if possible! If I do an out of state wedding, I have conference calls with the bride and groom, and insist on arriving at least one day in advance to do a short shoot, coffee, and conversation. If your photographer is too busy for this, how can you expect to be comfortable with him/her when they point that big lens at you?

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

That I have honed my skills and art for many years. Photography is not something everyone can do even tho everyone owns a camera. (Cell phone anyone?) Just because you own a computer doesn't mean you'll be programming video games. Just because you own a camera, would you photograph a friend's wedding? Or do family portraits?
