- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Though I have received certifications in life coaching, inner healing, and strategic intervention... My clients learn very quickly that coaching is not as much a learned skill, for me, as it is a gift. I believe I was born to help people process life in healthy ways. Life is full of joys and sorrows, both mountain top experiences and insurmountable pain. If I can provide an effective tool and a listening ear that makes the difference, my life is worth its weight in gold.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Honestly, it was born out of necessity. I was often approached by people (some I had only briefly met) looking for professional counseling and coaching. They knew that I had years of experience through my family's ministry background and offered compensation for my services. I then decided it may be a good idea to obtain proper education, certifications, and formalize the business.
