I have taken guitar lessons from Kim for many years. Not only is she an amazing guitarist who provided expert guidance but she was able to help me move from a basic beginner status to new levels in chord progression and improvisational technique. I highly recommend her lessons for an anyone with an interest in learning more about playing the guitar and music in general.

I took drum lessons with Damien from the end of junior high school until the summer before I left for college and loved every minute of it! Damien's passion for music is contagious and his enthusiasm in our lessons encouraged me to explore music in a way that I had not expected. By incorporating my personal musical likes into his teaching style he created a comfortable atmosphere where I was not limited by self doubt. I miss our lessons and highly recommend him as a musical instructor.

Stefano is a great teacher! I started taking drum lessons as an adult who'd always wanted to learn drums but had no experience. Stefano makes sure to work at your pace, finding the balance between pushing you to grow while ensuring you grasp everything and are actively improving and understanding. He also dives right into your favorite music making practicing fun and satisfying from the very start.

I started taking drum lessons later in life as I've always wanted to learn. After a great birthday present from a friend I started lessons with Mike. He is great at listening to what I wanted to learn and was very, very patient with me. I've always had trouble reading music but he taught me in no time and made the lessons very fun and interesting. He let me pick the songs I wanted to learn and he would even play along to help me get it right! Mike is a very talented drummer, musician and teacher. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is interested in learning the drums, he'll have you playing in no time!!

Raffia was my four year old grandson's (Taylor) piano teacher. From the very first day we entered her studio, she treated us with the utmost respect. I was so impressed on how well she worked with Taylor. She has a lot of patience and went out of her way to make sure we both understood his piano lesson. Taylor enjoyed going to see Ms Raffia to learn piano. He had a lot of fun. Without a doubt I would recommend Ms. Raffia to anyone who has a child considering taking Piano lessons. She is the greatest!!

Nolan is a consummate professional, both with his drumming skills and his demeanor. He is able to be firm enough with my 10 year old son (who thinks life revolves around video games), yet never overbearing. This is perfect for a kid with a short attention span! I appreciate the way he challenges my son and encourages him at the same time. I have been a life long musicians playing guitar and singing for over 25 years, and with all the drummers I know, if I was going to take drum lessons I would want to take them from Nolan!

My son started formal drum lessons with Steve two and a half years ago. Steve set the bar on professionalism, flexibility, communication, and has the patience to teach music to younger kids. My son went from a kid banging on a toy drum, to a musician that could play drum set rhythms in an elementary school jazz band. We've had other instructors since Steve left the Los Alamitos area but none of them compared to his high level of attributes listed earlier.

I've been taking lessons from Steve for quite a few months now. From the beginning, Steve has put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. He is always precise and makes sure that I understand what we are doing before we move on. I also appreciate that he allows me to practise in his studio on equipment that he provides. In general I am thoroughly enjoying the experience and feel as if I have improved a lot. I thank Steve for being patient and a good teacher.

Jeffery is the best. I always had so much fun during my lessons with him and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn the drums. He’ll tailor the lesson and his teaching method for whatever works best for the student. He’s knowledgeable, patient, and one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. 5 stars all the way.

Every Friday I'm at GoDpsMusic for my drum lesson. Definitely my favorite day of the week! The atmosphere is excellent! The acoustic and electronic drum kits in the lesson studios are the best. If you want to schedule a lesson or purchase equipment, I strongly recommend GoDpsMusic. Kevin, Brendan, Bryan, Steve and Robbie are the "go-to" guys at GoDpsMusic.

In addition to being technically proficient, I was raised by the music of dc so in my playing one can hear a spectrum of different feels from high energy hardcore and punk tempos to the slow pocket of dc's indigenious groove music, go go.

About

I have been drumming since junior high and been playing all styles. I am, currently, seeking students to teach basic drum beats as well as stage performance. I've played in the Hollywood scene in the 80s and specialized in showmanship and performance. My availability is flexible, and will have to come to you for lessons My rate is $30 an hour I currently play for Chasom Rad band . You can google us to check out performances

About

My goal is to enable the students to express their musical ideas on the instrument beyond the impediments of technical limitations. A lot of drummers sadly have to depend on preconceived licks and patterns in order to produce a decent performance. To solve this problem I have created concepts and use famous books/exercises that explore all the possible combinations that could come up in an improvisational or sight-reading context. While the students go through my method, they find out that the gap between thinking something musical and executing it on the instrument will gradually get smaller until eventually disappearing completely. At that point, the student will be able to pretty much express anything he thinks about or hears in the moment on the drum kit.

About

Thanasi is an experienced drum instructor. His passion for teaching comes from his personal joy of playing, inspiring and developing new generations of talents. Thanasi is a patient and fun teacher who can balance the excitement of playing an instrument with the discipline of learning. During the lessons, Thanasi focuses on musicality, musicianship, improvisation, creativity, groove, time, technique and style development. Once the necessary musical level is accomplished, Thanasi customizes a lesson plan to help you achieve your goals and success. His teaching technique is designed around actual performance, in which you will learn to develop a fun and creative practice routine. Born and raised in Sparta, Greece, Thanasi Moustogiannis had the desire to learn music and be a professional musician from an early age. This passion led Thanasi to become a versatile first-call freelance drummer and percussionist, with the ability to support any kind of music, ranging from ethnic/eastern Mediterranean music to pop and jazz. Although his primary focus is the drum set, Thanasi is also a trained pianist with degrees in both harmony of music and counterpoint. Thanasi is currently based in Los Angeles, California. Recently, he has performed with singer Mika Cole (LA music award), Aika (J-pop top 10) and Alexia (Chick Corea, 25 gold and platinum albums). Additionally, Thanasi collaborated with Neila Productions Studios (Marty Friedman, Ayaka Hirahara, Aika) for various recording projects such as the trailer as well as the theme song for the Warner Brothers movie "Ironclad", starring Golden Globe winner Paul Giamatti and Brian Cox.
