Introduction: Austin Del Rio (80r) has played nightclubs and private events from the shores of LA to Miami. Known for his unique take on house music, he has left an impression on his listeners and converted many into social media followers who regularly come to see him spin. 80r took on his first residency at only twenty-two for the Arrive Swim Club Palm Springs. Currently the resident DJ at Chill Bar a house nightclub and a regular slot at The Saguaro; the top pool party destination in Palm Springs. Austin Del Rio has also opened/closed shows with artists who performed at festivals such as Ultra, Coachella, EDC and more. He has been booked to play the main stage of Palm Springs Pride 2019 on November 2nd. Depending on the size of the event and equipment needed i charge anywhere from 50-200$ an hour
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a personal phone call about location and expectations and ask questions so I can be prepared for the event I am performing at
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been Playing events since I was 16 and went to school for audio engineering taking courses like live sound and acoustics , through my years I have learned to read a crowd and set up a great sounding sound system
