- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For Bookkeeping we bill at $50 and $30 an hour depending on the skill level of the person doing the work. All billing is reviewed to ensure that the amount is appropriate for the service provided. For Tax Returns, we use the type and number of forms the tax return requires as a guide to determine pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For bookkeeping, step one is to determine if there will be a fit with your needs and our services. We then develop a plan of service that will meet your needs in a efficient and economical process. For Income taxes, we need a copies of last years returns that we will review completely. Copies of all tax documents, W2s, 1099s, 1095s, etc. Summary of deductions. Copies of Drivers License or State ID. We have a secure server where documents may be uploaded or documents may be dropped off or mailed to our office.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BA in accounting. California Tax Education Council initial 60 hours of training and 20 hours each year of additional training. QuickBooks Advanced ProAdvisor training for QuickBooks OnLine and for all versions desktop QuickBooks, PC & Mac.
