I'm so happy that Kevin Stephens of Terramar Custom Builders was recommended on Nextdoor! He recently constructed a custom redwood fence and two gates for us. We had a vision for a design that was a bit unusual, and he implemented it beautifully. We could not be more pleased with the outcome. Kevin is a skilled craftsman with an eye for aesthetics. In addition to his outstanding workmanship, he has a highly professional and pleasant demeanor. He always showed up on time, if not a few minutes early, worked a full day, cleaned up thoroughly, and even worked all day one Sunday when the rain delayed our schedule. His communication was also excellent; Kevin checked in constantly to be sure that we were happy with the work. He responded well to all questions, requests, and feedback. It was an all-around wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Kevin Stephens of Terramar Custom Builders for any project requiring a general contractor.

Kevin Stephens was referred to me by a friend after I admired her Craftsman style carport he had built. Kevin has recently designed and built two sets of handrails, one from galvanized pipe on steps to garden, one off deck from wood. His design and his choice of materials is just what I needed. He always goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. Kevin is on time and calls if delayed. Delay in completion due only to rain. Kevin does creative good work and is a pleasant guy.

Kevin has done many projects for me at my two homes in the last 5+ years. They have included replacing fencing, large are of railing on my deck, misc. refinishing of chairs, front door, beam, installing grab bars in 3 bathrooms and 2 huge 24" high raised beds, 30" x 8'. The major project was designing and building a carport that we called a chateau. It turned out gorgeous and is one of the most beautiful structures in the neighborhood.
Kevin has integrity and is focused on completing the project on time and w/o any problems. He is exacting and detailed orientated which I want in a contractor.
I highly recommend Kevin Stephens!

Kevin was asked to bid on both our fence repair and replacement. We share these fences with neighbors and he fairly and accurately quoted price, design and timing to all our satisfaction. The work he did was professional, a well thought out design with timely and courteous service. He kept to his promises, was very neat and clean, and recommended what he felt may need to be done simply to improve the overall project. We highly recommend him for his craftsmanship and skill. He is an honest and professional young man.
