I cannot say enough about Thinque Prep and Joyee Lin. He is dedicated to his students success and does a very thorough job of preparing them for the ACT or SAT test. My son, Zack, who is very bright but requires a lot of patience worked with Joyee over the summer and brought his composite ACT score up from 30 to 33. His math score increased a full 4 pts. and he scored a 35 in English. Thinque Prep has other services related to tutoring and college application preparation. Zack will be working with Joyee on his college application essays. Joyee is in California and we are in Texas but this was never an issue as the sessions are done via video chat. The office manager Jen was great to work with and the appointment process was easy to navigate. I found the rates to be very competitive for like services. If there was a way to give extra stars I would!!

My experience learning English with Lynne is the best I've ever had. After many years of studying in schools in México, I felt that I was not good for English. However, with Lynne I learned a lot in a short time, her style is great because she teaches you in a fun way and with everyday things that are really useful . She is a committed teacher who strives in making their students learn and improve their English skills. She is also an intelligent and educated person, with great sense of humor and enjoys meeting people, their culture and way of life, which makes each class a mutual learning exchange. If you are looking for a good English teacher, Lynne Feldman is the best !!! Erika P.

Whenever I have a high stakes assignment, I take it to Oliver. He never disappoints. Whether its a History DBQ, an English literary analysis, or a letter of recommendation, Oliver makes it better. His analytical mind and command of the language are untouchable.

He is a really outstanding teacher. His patience always let me feel very related in his classes. Because I am a International student, and my teachers never used English to teach students before, sometimes I can be very nervous and confused in what teachers say in America classes. But Earl really gives me confidences, which make me believe I can overcome the difficulties I met in my study. Moreover, he really impresses me when he teaches me SAT writing, due to the reason that he separates long sentences for me and tells me which different functions of which different parts of them; this method is very useful for International students such as me. However, few teachers use this method to teach students when they cannot understand the meanings of the long and difficult sentences. Honestly, he did really give me lots of help.

      About

A results driven teacher, I cut through the excess and get down to what matters right away. In regards to Spanish or English, getting you the target vocabulary you need to do your job or to communicate better is number one. Giving you the comprehension and strategy to pass tests, be they common core state standardized, TOEFL, CBEST, Praxis or anything that requires reading comprehension, english literature grammar mechanics, or writing is something we can easily do together. We work hard but we do so playing educational games that get us to our goal. I will show you how to study with flash cards to memorize a ton of information in only a short amount of time. I work well with and have experience teaching from the very youngest of children to Corporate Business Professionals. Children love me. I am educated, experienced, highly recommend and referred. I am looking for clients that have a long term goal and want to meet on a routine basis. This is so I have a set schedule and get my own studies done. (Masters in Education)

I am a very enthusiastic and creative person, which helps me bring very unique and fun activities to class. I always accommodate my lessons based on the student's level and specific need or interest just like for example, if you need to learn English for business or work or perhaps you need to learn some conversational Spanish for traveling. Everyone is unique so I like to make all of my lessons unique as well. No matter what, we always have a good time!
