I threw a Christmas/house warming party last year and hired Rust & Thistle to create super unique centerpieces and arrangements. Not only did Emily (the owner) blow me away with her choice of flowers (which weren't generic Christmas choices, but attuned to my own personal style), but the amount of detail was astounding. For instance, she created a gorgeous garland for my mantle that had an actual hummingbirds nest incorporated within it (she found it after it had fallen from a tree that morning)I kept the nest and its still displayed on my bookshelf nearly a year later. Her designs aren't just decorations, their personalized conversation piecesshe really listened to me and delivered what I wanted and so much more. I definitely plan on hiring her for every single event I have in the future.

Emily at Rust + Thistle is very professional, kind and thoughtful. She listened to the vibe that I wanted for my wedding and really knew how to bring it to life-- even better than I was imagining! She created the most beautiful bouquets that complemented my bridesmaid's dresses, and a beautifully crafted bridal bouquet that really made me pop as a bride.
She also made me the PERFECT flower crown. It was exactly what I asked for-- a small and dainty babies breath crown that did not take over my face. It made me feel so ethereal, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
I would definitely hire Emily again in a flash, and will be recommending her to my friends as well!

Emily made these absolutely beautiful floral crowns and table arrangements for a bridal shower I hosted. She has an incredible eye for detail and is really gifted at creating really gorgeous things without a lot of excess. Simple, beautiful stuff.

Simply amazing!
I contacted Emily just over a week before my wedding. I found her via Thumbtack and sent her some images of flower ideas I had. She was a joy to work with, really helpful in working with my ideas and developing exactly what I needed for my wedding (a small intimate affair). She was/is professional, friendly, reliable, and I really don't think you would could find someone better. Her talent is truly outstanding. My order was a a traditional looking posy arrangement, with two smaller versions for my matron and maid of honor. I also required two corsages, and three boutonnieres. I had a couple of phone conversations with Emil after emailing her images of my ideas. Her vision and final creation totally matched what I had in mind. I would recommend her 1000%
