I have learn so much from Beany beyond health and fitness. When I first joined The Boxing Club, I felt intimated the idea of the "gym." I also pretty much ate without any consideration to my health. I knew I was pre-diabetic so I needed to make a change. I started my fitness journey by doing boxing and kickboxing classes. I finally started to feel comfortable going to the gym on a regular basis. However, I was not loosing weight because my nutrition was still not in track. I joined a 3 month challenge to incentive myself to loose weight. I started to make small changes in my diet and saw small results. A month in to my 3 month challenge, I was introduced to Beany. When we started training, we trained twice a week and I received a meal plan. Beany pushed me to my limits every session. I was pushed to limits I did not know I could even achieve, but Beany believed in me. She motivated and helped keep me on track. It was challenging, but the pounds came off. By the end of the challenge, I lost 6.8 percent body fat and 18 pounds. I came in second place and I was so happy all the hard work paid off. I continued to train with Beany and I ended up loosing a total of 35 pounds. Beyond the numbers, I gained so much for that journey. I learned that I was stronger, mentally and physically, than I thought. I also learned to love and respect my body. Beany helped spark this in me. About a year later, I kept this weight off and continue my health and fitness journey.

I participated in Gilbert's kickboxing classes for several years. Based on the great experience I decided he would be a great addition to my clients workout program. I've never had a better training experience and my clients felt the same way. Gilbert worked every muscle in numerous different ways. In the time we worked together with clients he teaches kickboxing technique on a level that truly improved their self esteem and fitness levels. His routines are very well balanced. Some based primarily in cardio, some in strength, some in balance and core technique, some in flexibility and others that combined them all. The variety made the workouts interesting and challenging. Because Gilbert was monitoring cardio capacity, strength and flexibility client and myself could see the progress from all the work. This was a huge inspiration. During workouts, Gilbert was a source of knowledge on physical therapy, anatomy and workouts. A final note, when Gilbert is doing working out with clients, he stays focused on you. He's not busy chatting with others or looking around the gym. He's a real professional. I highly recommend him!
Reza helped me explore new aspects of kickboxing, cardio and introduced me to mild sparing. He also helped me realize that I could switch between left-handed and right-handed to maintain offensive momentum & unpredictablity. I really enjoying my training with Reza. Highly recommended.

I started personal training with Jeremy about a year and half ago. I was struggling to lose weight on my own and came across his kickboxing class. I was really nervous to try something I had zero experience in and was way out of my comfort zone. But he was really patient and understanding. I was really impressed and decided to look into his personal training. Seriously the best choice I made. He was able to push and motivate me in ways you don't get to experience in a group class. I like how he focuses on technique and pays attention to every little detail. He's very patient as he explains in depth of combos, movement and footwork. But it didn't stop there. My fitness goals changed & we started to shift our focus more on weight training. He was able to explain every workout and body part we were focusing on. And help me with my diet/nutrition. Not only is he very knowledgeable in all areas of fitness but he's passionate about what he does. He keeps it fun but professional. I was able to meet my fitness goals thanks to Jeremy.
