The Living Joyfully Wellness Workshop that was presented by Jodi Sloane was an extremely positive experience. The program was meticulously planned and presented. I learned concepts and skills that could be easily incorporated on a daily basis with immediate results. On a personal level, Jodi is an attentive, knowledgeable, person who gives constructive and considerate advice. I highly recommend her service!Jun 14, 2017

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?$85 per hour. $75 per hour when you purchase two or more sessions at one time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The coaching process begins with a phone call to establish we’re a fit. This is complimentary. Next, we work out a time and date for your first coaching session. During your first session, we will go over your reasons for seeking assistance from a life coach. I will ask you a lot of questions that help me understand your current goals in the context of your life and history and that help determine your wellness in each of the four systems–mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual–that make you whole and balanced. I’ll ask a lot of questions that lead you through the self-discovery process and offer guidance along the way. Our discussion provides a platform for us as we co-create your Action Plan. Your Action Plan includes strategies and tools that you implement over a time period you determine is best. What’s next? We schedule follow-up appointments to assess your progress. This is when working with a life coach really gets fun! We celebrate your victories and we talk through any challenges that come up. We discuss strategies for keeping you focused and motivated and we modify your Action Plan as needed. Where will we meet? If you’re near Carlsbad, CA, we'll meet at a coffee shop near you. If you’re outside the area, your coaching sessions will be by phone. Phone sessions are preferred by many clients, as they fit more easily into their busy schedules. (Skype or FaceTime is also an option.)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a certified IWA Integrative Wellness & Life Coach. I’m a former teacher for the Living Joyfully Wellness Workshop, which I researched and wrote for the San Dieguito Adult School. I am a lifelong learner and researcher of all things related to wellness and living a joyful life. Most recently I received training for MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and currently I'm fascinated by the topic of how we embrace habit change in our daily lives. I am a mother--my teenage sons provide excellent on the job training in the area of parenting. I've been happily married for 20 years. And I was a caretaker for my mother for four years before she passed away from cancer. Before that? I have a Bachelors degree from UC Riverside and a long time ago I was a media executive in advertising.
